One of my low-key hobbies is collecting cheap One Sheets and Lobby Cards for movies I've seen on MST3K. (emphasis on the cheap) I picked some beauties up at an antique show this weekend.

There's a performance aspect to great teaching most people don't understand. You're putting on a one-man/woman show several times a day for an easily distracted audience that may not want to be there. That takes skill and passion, and you're not rewarded nearly well enough for it.

I once had the chance to watch my wife teach a class. That was a true "Holy shit she's good at what she does!" moment for me.

I was 24 in 1989. IIRC, I had gone retro and was listening to "Who's Next" and the like for a couple of years.

The death of Terry Kath ruined Chicago. Making Cetera the frontman was like paving over their entire history.

It's been several years since the Chiefs offense was this much fun to watch. Amazing what a healthy recieving corps and finding a couple of guys who can actually play LT can do.

Hmm. I believe this pumpkin patch lacks a certain..... sincerity.
