Gunn’s Superman was a clueless himbo. Liked Lex, his goons, his selfie-addict girlfriend, Krypto the dog, and Mister Terrific. No idea why it looked so cheap—Gunn’s films usually look sharp. Kindness isn’t punk rock. It’s not an aesthetic. Just a series of baffling choices and half-formed ideas.

The James Gunn Superman movie is a giant turd in the summertime pool. Big giant NOPE. The story, dialogue, and editing are clunky and weird AF. And all the pandering in the world with the weird inserts of the original scoring further made this movie so off. I hated it. The dog was okay. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
