So many student creatives have been pouring their soul into this event and I am excited to see what it holds. I hope people will tune in for all the shenanigans, and if you (or someone you know) can donate, that would be very appreciated!

Scratch was an ever present force in my life growing up and I know the same is true for many of my peers. The creative freedom, learning, and community of Scratch is absolutely beautiful and hopefully this event is able to capture what it means to many of us.

I feel like every developer should self host something. It doesn’t have to be complicated, just spin up a vps with a personal website, url shortener, or anything else. The amount of peers that I have that cannot navigate a Unix terminal is genuinely mind boggling

The back of the tamagotchi screen with a smear of ink, a poorly drawn flower, and the text “grace was here”. On the left is the green pcb with the bottom 3ish millimeters sanded off. This cuts off half of each button pad.

My hand holding the assembled tamagotchi with it showing the time as 10:52. The buttons are black instead of white

On a whim, I modded my tamagotchi to have tactile buttons. Almost killed him a few times but it’s so cool I can hardly complain
