Well argued, but also unsubsidized student loans that can't be discharged gave students more spending power so colleges raised tuition, next year, loan amounts went up, so ost went up, repeat 30+ years and...

Because when you hook nearly every student to a gigantic loan they can't get rid of with bankruptcy and will have them paying for a few decades, why not raise the price, you always get your money.
