i came back to life and i am already dying again loooool. coworker got me sick and i couldn't even call out today which is. the worst. i'm mad about it. and now that i'm home i'm just so TIRED.

it was amusing. but over all a good experience hearing people's stories about why the album means so much to them... and a few people even complimented my writing so that was cool. today i posted an alestorm album. that post will not get near as much engagement LMFAOOO

and people arguing that it's soulless, or that it's just roger waters' being self absorbed... like... did you listen to this album with your ears covered??? do you even HAVE feelings????

but to argue that it doesn't count as pink floyd and then tell me you prefer the division bell???????? that is. certainly an opinion.

but the middle aged+ men who disagreed with me were SO FUNNY. some people were just like "nah, it's bad". like ok cool, we have different opinions. i know this album isn't for everyone, i get that.

SURPRISINGLY... a lot of people actually agreed with me. it was really nice to have that connection with internet strangers over an album that is SO important to me. especially considering it's often overlooked or just... overly shit on.

i wrote a several paragraph post about it, recounting how i first listened to it, how it made me feel (very emotional lol), and highlighting some of the best tracks and channeling my inner music reviewer (i used to write reviews for punknews)

i posted pink floyd's "the final cut" because, while it is a controversial opinion, it's my favourite pink floyd album (even though i acknowledge that, objectively, it is not their best)
