Hey do you think managers need to remind staff about timesheets, especially if the time periods are always the same and staff has been here forever? I can see for shorter time periods, like holiday weeks and stuff like that...

Oh that's right you were on the original list of 3, as well, along with CA!
But lol at my state librarian "we don't know why..."
Uh yeah, we do...

See...
Welp, CT specifically lost funding for DEI buuuuut that was a direct hit b/c of Murphy's comments on the administration.
Lol
Please clap at all the phone calls that I've been putting off for months, and took care of in less than 15 min.
Granted, 2 messages were left but I did book 3 overdue appointments AND start with one new practice.
Yay day off lol.

OK In the Garden of Beasts (Larson), I have a main library that has it in bio, branch has it in 943.
😵💫
And to bring this back to @maysunshine.bsky.social lol: her library and the branch use the same call number.
Some of the libraries with branches DO use different numbers.
I should try a different NF title.
OK Hartford PL uses LC...and only has one copy right now. More on order...
Home rule cataloging. At least in my consortium. We aren't branches so that makes sense, but I would think branches would all be the same.
New Haven PL has 5 locations but only ONE copy so I can't see what they dooooooo 🤪🥲
My consortium has one college as a member but they are tiny and it makes sense for them to use LC but a reg ol' branch of a public library is puzzling lol
Yeah smart. I don't think many numbers are necessary especially in smaller collections.
Wait some use DDC and some use LC???????
Solid
Lmfao
Lolsob was thinking the same thing

Yes absolutely! Actually I am not a fan of the 600s for books like this, but it just looks funny overall, seeing one in 300s.
I think 600 should be for facts about disease, guides, "surviving with X illness" and so on.
Hahaha sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Yeah I liked how MOST OF US had the Green book in 614 (the decimals differed), but jeez the 362 is out there.
Haha oh no way, at least not for LION. We have "home rule" when it comes to assigning call#. The MARC aren't always great for call# purposes, depending where you get the records from, and some don't have call# anyway, so then you have to figure it out.
Can you tell I used to catalog? 🤣🤣🤣
