I think I'd take those signs as an instruction set for how I might get to spend time with a cat.

Dudes. As a society we taught young women to walk with keys between their fingers in dark parking lots and to carry pepper spray in their purse.
So yes. I’m asking you to be responsible for the actions of other men. After all, that’s what you’ve asked of women for centuries.
It’s your turn.
So you want to justify the term "sport" for wrestling as meaning fooling around? Sure, I guess. But that's certainly not the first meaning listed in the dictionary, nor is it the meaning used for decades by pro wrestling promotions.
No, because gymnastics involves an unknown competitive element. I have some issues with gymnastics and other sports that involve judgment based scoring, but the competition is nevertheless real. Can't say that for wrestling.
Oh, we are dealing with fantasyland? This isn't a productive or serious conversation if you are going to suggest some sort of segregation. Take care.
We really don't think that, actually. We just want safe routes for people who don't need or can't afford a car.
We did, that wasn't enough people as it turned out.
I ride in cold temperatures, less often in active snow situations. But maybe this video isn't for your particular circumstance. It's clearly about car use in cities, so your comment isn't all that relevant.
Cool, if that's every trip you make, I'd recommend a small truck or van every time. But that really doesn't describe the vast majority of car trips.
Yep, and believe it or not, that's one of the better segments in Boston's incomplete bike route network. We are a long way from having Dutch level infrastructure.
Cool, by all means, drive in your rural setting. Meanwhile, most people live in cities, and bike riding (in all weather) can be a reasonable option with just a small infrastructure investment.
Yes, just like circus acrobats. Professional wrestling is highly entertaining and athletic, great improv theater, but definitely not a sport, which is something that is defined in part as a competition with an unknown outcome.
No argument on that. Our governing authorities don't care enough about transit to do more than the bare minimum. But let's at least acknowledge those Chinese tickets are heavily subsidized, because they are.
First the VP, now the Speaker. The just war response is not the gotcha they think it is. I wonder if they can show me where Jesus talked about such things. Hint, it was invented by the medieval church to enshrine the alliance between church and state. It certainly doesn't bind Pope Leo.
There is usually some focus on consumers, too. I mostly see this in parking and bus lane discourse -- too hard to shop if you can't park arguments. But even that, is really about maintaining proprieter profits, so....
Vibes, all vibes.
With the confidence built through years of mansplaining, JD steps up to explain Catholicism to the Pope.
What was that whole thing about Papal infalability? Do they not teach that anymore?
Eh, I'm there fairly often, and I don't really get that vibe. Definitely some unhoused and troubled folks in the street, but it doesn't seem dangerous. And I've looked at the data -- the stats are pretty comparable with larger cities like Boston and New York. Maybe it looks off in a small city?
FIFA ruined the World Cup, the train tickets are not the big picture problem.
Poetic license. Why do you care?
Briefly, but I think you are purposefully being obtuse. Taxes collected in the state of Massachusetts should generally be used to benefit the people who live there. If the World Cuppers are paying taxes, great. They can also pay full fare for traveling to the game, even better!
The $17.50 regular price is subsidized, whether or not somebody spends money on something else. They will still spend money, including $80 for their train ticket.
And I say more power to them! No reason for tax payers to subsidize soccer in my opinion, and with all the extra trains assigned for that service, other lines may see degraded service, so at least gouge the non-regular users.
The MBTA is doing the sa.e thing. A normal round trip ticket from South Station to Gillete Stadium (23 miles each way) is $19.50. The round trip ticket for "Boston Stadium" is priced at $80.
One a Republican, one a Democrat, this seems like the way a slave state was admitted every time a free slate entered the Union, just to keep Congressional balance. Probably a whole lot more need to leave.
Orban is a better democrat than Trump, and Victor is horrible.
And let's not forget market manipulation.
I'm not confused at all, actually, but I see a lot of people who are arguing that inflation should be double counted. That is definitely confusion on their part.
Because they suck is the answer to almost any question about fascists.
