Putting this damn thing through it's paces today
Can you post the code? I think a lot of people would be interested.
Here's another one for you: I actually wrote it myself. Transliterated, it's a sony VCR programming manual from 1996
is the paper out yet?
โช@redblobgames.comโฌ this is expanding on the Boo line I which I discovered right at the very end of your linedrawing article :)

whats the thread? drop the link
it my head its maybe like vampire survivors but you have a dozen interacting triggers popping off left right and center going completely haywire. that might be because ive never really played an autobattler though, so thats the closest point of comparison i have.
yeah i thought autobattler based on that one early screenshot with lots of non grid-aligned units, but every time you post something it seems like some different weird thing :) looking forward to playing it!
have you written anywhere about what the overall gameplay style of the new title is? i can never work it out from the screenshots, its intriguing
Whys this one smaller?

Ah that makes sense. I usually just assume stuff like that in old code is manual inlining.
I guess architectures were so diverse back then that reimplementing your own little version of every function was the norm.
@redblobgames.com this was heavily inspired by your definitive post :)
