B-sides are like the middle children of releases. Becoming increasingly more rare and forgotten. I like releasing 2 tracks at once. Gives people something extra if they like the first bite or another flavor. If you do enough of them you get to release a b-side comp later on.

My reaction to anything coming out of the current admin
(I say this as someone who rarely plays in standard anymore and plays riffs all the time). Focusing on melody and rhythmic textures between instruments excites me more these days than the arms race that is chasing after riff heaviness. At some point it all starts the sound the same
