A squirrel sits on a wall above a robin.
This week on the romantasy Court of Squirls & Birbs
(aka my back garden):
Brave Sir Robin hides from Death*
*One of the four Squirls of the Arsholepocalypse ๐๐
Soooo boring, right? I don't get it...
Cartoon showing one dry book and one that's been wet.
Ok, baths are just boring. I've said it, I stand by it, even a book doesn't help.

Picture of a pomeranian.
Finally get to post a pet pic. Dog sitting this little toodle-pip:
Simba Resistance is futile, you will be a-SIMBA-lated!
Another day at the romantasy Court of Squirls and Birbs (aka my back garden):
Whoa! That's my husband's ambition too ๐คฃ. Looks like yours has a better chance ๐.
So many people hate it! ๐คฃ
Thanks, I'm good, I don't have anything published yet.
Oooo, there's a bit in that one that almost made me wet myself ๐คฃ
Ohh, lucky you! One of my all time favorite authors. Are you starting with Miss Silver or the non-series golden-age books? All are good but I'd recommend giving the first Miss Silver a miss (Grey Mask I think). ๐
Stone house in snow
View out the front door this morning - more Snow Queen activity overnight - but still no Turkish Delight...
Me too! I just adored them ๐ I had two sisters but my youngest sister was an only child... ๐คฃ
Mood board of four squirrels, a pheasant, a robin and two sparrows
As well as the birds who visit our garden, we have a family of four squirrels.
I can't tell them apart but that hasn't stopped me giving them romantasy names and overly complicated backstories.
Behold:
๐คฃ
I liked it too! (can't eat it these days ๐ญ)
So good!
So many people are disappointed with it ๐คฃ
Victorian lamp post in snow.
Discovered our garden has turned into Narnia overnight.
Am off to check the shed for Mr Tumnus or Turkish Delight (everyone loves Turkish Delight, right?).
I think this might also be how people become writers... (credit: Trying Times Comics)
Your poor son will have to spell that name for ever! JensEn, then they'll still spell it Jenson ๐คฃ
Ooo, I loved that book!
Fact: I love a 'real' book but eBooks have saved me from being crushed to death on multiple occasions.

Done - thanks! Looks great.

Have you read Jasper Fforde's 'Early Riser'? Great book, set in a world where humans hibernate ๐ฅฑ
Ha! I'd need a bigger igloo ๐คฃ
You too ๐
~Ahhhh, brilliant!
