WBIT QF HALFTIME: Belmont 40, JMU 20. Dukes offense completely out of sync, shooting 24%. Belmont's shooting numbers actually came back down to earth late in the half, but the Bruins extended the lead anyway with a 13-0 run during a six minute JMU scoring drought.

WBIT QF END 1Q: Belmont 22, JMU 11. Kendall Holmes and Tuti Jones each have 8 points for the Bruins. Belmont shooting 56% from the field, JMU 25%.

WBIT END REGULATION: JMU 66, Marquette 66. Eagles didn't get a shot off on their final possession. But JMU likely has to play OT withouth Ashanti Barnes who was injured in the final seconds.

Well, Peyton McDaniel catches the inbounds pass on the block and was tackled going up for the shot. They called it out of bounds on JMU. Marquette gets it back with 3.1 seconds left tied 66-66 and they can advance the ball.

JMU's Ashanti Barnes helped off the floor with 4.5 seconds left not putting any weight on her left ankle. Game is tied 66-all and the Dukes will inbound under their own basket.

Final media timeout has JMU leading Marquette 62-58 in the second round of the WBIT. Winner gets Belmont. Four Dukes in double figures with 4:26 left.

WBIT END 3Q: Marquette 52, JMU 51. Jamia Hazell has 13 points to lead JMU, but Skylar Forbes has 19 for Marquette and has been a matchup problem since Ashanti Barnes picked up her third foul.

WBIT HALFTIME: Marquette 32, JMU 30. Dukes led by 12 early, but have 11 turnovers mostly coming in the paint. Lee Volker has 11 points for Marquette, including a buzzer beater to put the Eagles back on top at the break.

WBIT END 2Q: JMU 18, Marquette 12. Dukes scored the first 11 points and still shooting 62%. All of the Eagles points have come off 7 JMU turnovers.

A quick trip across campus, and now getting ready for the WBIT second round at the Atlantic Union Bank Center where JMU will take on Marquette. Dukes looking for the first 30-win season in program history.

SB FINAL: Marshall 7, JMU 6. Sixth-inning rally for the Dukes falls short and it's a seven-game losing streak with back-to-back series sweeps to open up Sun Belt play for JMU.

Heading to the 6th at VMP, Marshall softball leads JMU 6-2. Dukes stranded two in the bottom of the 5th.

After three innings at VMP, JMU softball leads Marshall 2-1. Peyton List hasn't allowed an earned run in the circle for the Dukes, looking for their first Sun Belt victory and to snap a six-game losing streak.

WBIT FINAL: JMU 77, Davidson 50. Ksyusha Kozlova 19 points and 10 rebounds. Ro Scott 16 points and 6 rebounds for the Dukes, now 29-5 and on to the second round of the WBIT, where they will play host to Marquette on Sunday at 4 p.m.

WBIT: JMU outscoring Davidson 13-0 in the fourth quarter to take a 62-41 lead with 6:18 to go. If the Dukes win they will face Marquette here at the AUBC on Sunday.
