Yes, that was my thought too. I only lived in a traditional dorm for a summer program in 2001 and then in college I did a semester and a half in a campus affiliated apartment and that was 2002, so what do I know? But I was completely derailed by this non-important detail in the movie.

That's what I would hope. But I went to college so long ago and didn't live in a traditional dorm so was thinking this movie may have had SOME accuracy.

Finally catching up on #TheMsPatShow and I haven't laughed this hard in a LONG ass time, but also, now I'm down a rabbit hole about #Girlfriends because everyone of them who guest starred on this show looks exactly the same as they did back then but they're in their 50s and 60s. I can't get over it.

It really upsets me that this child thinks he might have more money than a seasoned reporter -- and he might be right because journalism doesn't pay.
