Oh it definitely loses SOMEthing, and I'm saying S4E1 in particular has a weak start (and you want to get someone hooked in the first couple minutes).

There are some moments in later series that are better with previous context (like Joel's egg) but I think watching in order is overrated.

S4 is great but the ep 1 prize task mentions several British celebrities so it's a weird start.

I'd say S19 is a fantastic start with several great Greg-Alex interactions, plus some Jason is American jokes.

I've also used S13 as a starting point. "Find the ducks" is perfect Taskmaster essence.

I think "One-up a previous Taskmaster contestant" would be an amazing task idea.

You could absolutely get on the roof and commentate it. Or do your 10s times tables.
