And to be frank, there was a business alignment a few years before I left that changed things up. Some things were better (tech stack, equipment, office space, etc), but overall it wasn't quite the same. Didn't have quite the same vibe, started feeling more and more corporate, etc.
I worked for 9 years at what I consider one of the best employers I've ever had (left there years ago). They have had several rounds of layoffs over the last couple of years and it sounds like it's really gone downhill lately. Sad for people I know who are still there.
