@joebuscaglia.bsky.social The Darius Slay Award - for the guy that cost us to lose an important depth and special teams player by not showing up.

It is certainly A CHOICE!
I’d like to know how he feels about calling plays at field level, and what type of scope the OC he is looking to hire would have for work.
Do we have any concerns about him allegedly being a “3-4 guy” and us not having personnel for that or is that overblown and he can make our personnel work for whatever scheme.
I don’t remember this much scrutiny on Zay Jones… but I guess it could just be our expectations are higher now.
Aaron, this is Terrytown… we shall henceforth be an organization that makes all decisions based on guts and vibes.
Would love to know:
(A) when was the first time they considered this structure adjustment (I.e. was this at least a potential plan for months or was it first discussed post broncos game)
(B) if this wasn’t discussed until post broncos game, would like Terry to go step by step through events
Don’t forget the “has to be ok only reporting to 🫘 and no direct line to Terry” factor.
Prediction: Joe Brady will be the HC, and Davis Webb will be the OC.
If the Seahawks, Rams and/or Patriots were out of the playoffs I think that would impact this.
Just what I think will happen. No one cares what I want. 😂
Aaron, Eric, Greg, and the rest of the Cover1 crew are strong. Rare group that actually talks football with logic and reason and doesn’t just spout bills hot takes for clicks. I enjoy them, Sal, and Joe B (the athletic) for the bulk of my bills media.
@salsports.bsky.social - do you think the Sabres recent success after the firing of Adams made Terry think he made a mistake canning his GM last time he made one of these decisions?
Odds he called the Ravens ownership about how they thought through firing JH but kept their GM in place?
@joebuscaglia.bsky.social and @aaronquinn716.bsky.social - we’re about to back ourselves into a corner so hard that Davis Webb will end up as our next HC.
We are employing a resulting mindset and the stupid part of our fanbase won. If Beane stays as well, we will be stuck with a first time unproven HC that doesn’t have the juice of Ben or Liam to circumvent the GM situation. The fanbase took McDrizzle for granted, and we may pay huge for it.
This is a case study in resulting. Thought this was one of McDrizzles best coaching jobs given the constraints and issues. No HC candidate with juice is going to want to report to Beane. We are in for a messy offseason now, and it’s entirely self inflicted.
I am at a loss for words on this one. It feels very wrong, like a big overreaction, and a resulting mindset. Thought this year was one of McDrizzles best coaching jobs given all of the constraints and issues that came up.
How do the Bills look on advanced metrics on defense from the last eight games or so? The scoreboard may not show it but it’s felt like they’ve been playing much better since the last quarter or third of the season.
Bills by a billion is the only right answer.
How much different is this Broncos defense compared to the one the Bills hung 31 on during last years playoffs?
(1) what is the preferred “upscale” bacon choice for b-sammies?
(2) more impact on the offensive game today - Hawes, Shavers, or Ty Johnson?
@aaronquinn716.bsky.social - listening to the recap, not sure why so many want to completely write off Coleman already. He’s 22, still very athletic, and progress isn’t linear.
Hasn’t lived up to where he was drafted, but he’s barely played (injured/benched half last year). We have no patience.

@joebuscaglia.bsky.social any idea why Cook barely touches the ball (or is on the field) after basically carrying the team to a TD to start the second half?
