Yeah, true. I have sat in the same seat for 30 years as have most of the people around me, so there's a lot of back-and-forth among us - but this kid seemed to be on his own as a lot of the regulars didn't turn up so sold their seats.
It wasn't so much as the relentless negativity that got me as much as the complete lack of original thought or insight - it was like he thought supporting a club meant repeating a bunch of memes he'd seen on the internet. Miserable.
First encounter with a kid raised entirely within a negative online football culture yesterday at the Bridge. Spent the entire game shouting pejorative nicknames at his own players ("Netonyahu", "Subject 49"), seemed to absolute despise every minute of the experience and left 10 minutes early.
