The Us history exam in Texas does not cover 1789 to 1877. 1877 is the end of reconstruction. This is the only statewide exam for Texas K-12 students. By skipping 1789 to 1877, Texas skips the trail of tears, slavery, the civil war, and the westward expansion into indigenous lands.
I think it is interesting to consider what will happen if fusion is achieved. Will the company share its intellectual property? Will its host nation allow it to do so? Will those with huge investments in fossil fuels run lobbying and PR campaigns against the adoption of fusion generation?
