It takes some learning and practice to adapt your brain to metric measurements. Way back when I was an artist, and a sculptor more specifically, I started using metric measurements to simplify the math in scaling my sketches into steel. But once you internalize it, it makes projects so much simpler

Animation is hard, you did well. I tried my hand at it a while back, my biggest problem was I couldn’t draw consistently enough to make each frame actually look contiguous (This was pre-digital)
