Qd le 1er Ministre décide d'une nième coupe dans le budget du CNRS, il faut repenser le modèle de financement de la recherche publique pour lui assurer moyens financiers et indépendance face aux groupes de pression. @cnrs.fr , @franceuniversites.bsky.social

It is super interesting to see how some senior people have not commented at all on the new ERC rules. Makes you wonder
What is making blood vessels grow in the developing brain? It depends on when and where you look! www.cell.com/cell/fulltex...
Nice place to visit Joaquin! If you have time, pass by your favourite institute in France (aka @igflyon.bsky.social )...
« world leadership goes through investing in research and science »… France is clearly shooting itself in the foot (again) by announcing new major budget cuts with immediate effects on all @cnrs.fr institutes! 😩
If cell diversity and developmental biology are your thing, my talk will extremely be your jam. Come for the whole-mount spatial transcriptomics and 14Tb light-sheet videos, stay for the humble RNA in situs. Everyone loves in situs 🧪🐟🧅
🧠 Johannes Kohl | Eric Kandel Young Neuroscientists Prize Lecture 🌟 At #FENS2026, join the Eric Kandel Young Neuroscientists Prize Lecture by Johannes Kohl, The Francis Crick Institute, on 9 July! 🔬 His lab integrates behavioural, systems and cellular approaches to uncover how internal states shape brain function and support adaptive social behaviour. 🏆 In 2025, he was awarded the Eric Kandel Young Neuroscientists Prize. His work has also been supported by EMBO, HFSP and Wellcome Trust, and received the Eppendorf and Science Prize for Neurobiology. Meet all the speakers 👉 https://buff.ly/wQ8V4Ha

Just discovered the wonderful covers of 'Genes to Cells', the journal of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan @mbsj-official.bsky.social – absolutely beautiful!
here some examples inspired by mitosis, CRISPR, the DNA helix, and plant pigments
🧨 Check out this peeps🧨 I am very happy with the outcome of this thought baby! @neurogut.bsky.social @michaelrera.bsky.social and Mael Lemoine (yes, a philosopher) twisted our brains over preparing this conceptual review! We give you the "Enterarchon" Enjoy it!

I like the Greek name…
Very nice read!
Such a pleasant moment listening to the original science from @audeber.bsky.social today at @igflyon.bsky.social @ensdelyon.bsky.social. Out of the box ideas, Outstanding tools, Out of my comfort zone… Totally great!
Very happy and proud to see @doetschlab.bsky.social awarded the Louis Jeantet prize: a fantastic mentor, scientist and human being!
now or never, submission deadline Jan 19th!
PhD applicants: This is an amazing opportunity with a great and generous mentor AND outstanding brain research questions! Go for it 👇
📣First preprint of the lab📣 Did that really happen?😅
Enteric neurons, aka somatic postmitotic cells, must hold on to their sex identity tight, to deliver a tuned response to signals from the ovary that instruct the animal to engage sex-matched behavioural programmes.

Congrats Dafni! Big big step I can only imagine :-). I really like the distinction between "competence", "priming", and "triggering", and the way you state it in the abstract is brillant! This ovary-gutNeuron axis makes me wonder whether they are other ovary-XYZneuron communication in the periphery.
I am very happy (and a bit scared) to present to you what we have been working on over the last 4 years. This manuscript is exactly what I dreamt of when I started the lab and I could not be happier and prouder of the outcome!
Congratulations @nkonst4.bsky.social and team! It’s really a conceptually inspiring study! My new passion is the Cricket brain, si am really curious to look at it in details. Thanks for the very exciting thread! ✌️
