“The” sequel…? 👀
The ‘Board of Peace’ started World War 3 so fast.
I love this article #winter

Delightful thread. With quality alt text and gorgeous cat.
Now do a similar article on NI, where the flags are more sinister, regularly feature terrorist organisations, and if one tried to remove them, they'd be met with much worse consquences than flour and eggs.....

Pulled a muscle in my neck putting my backpack on when leaving work. Thought wearing a supportive backpack was the sensible option 😩
That’s very exciting! Best of luck with the writing 🍀
@bethwritesstuff.bsky.social still find myself thinking about ‘last one at the party’, a few years after finishing it. Dare I ask if a sequel is still in the pipeline?! 🙏

"Analysis found that the record set in the last financial year means the average FTSE 100 chief executive is now paid 122 times the salary of the average full-time UK worker."

Loving this month’s book club choice so far. And a day off work when the sun is shining has enabled some reading time in the garden with a glass of wine - fabulous! 📖
Loved this. Heart ached after reading it but I tend to prefer books and films that make me really feel all the feels….
The cartoon depict Trump as a tank being driven by Netanyahu towards Iran. War criminal Netanyahu is seen with a grin standing out of the top of Trump’s hair, through a tank hatch. The Israeli flag flies on top of Trump’s head and he has just run over and crushed a copy of the Iran Nuclear Deal. The whole cartoon suggests felon Trump is steered entirely by Netanyahu.
This cartoon was drawn 8 years ago.
It seems the right time for it to be reshared.

They were careless people, Tom and Daisy- they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.

‘Close to Home’ book by Michael Magee.
Oh goodness but how I loved this. The characters are so keenly observed, can’t wait to see what @michaelmagee.bsky.social does in the future with his amazing talent.
Thanks for the recommendation @bridgebooksdromore.bsky.social - bought it from you and so glad I did!
So weird as I read it as Pulitzer so obviously knew what you meant and my brain skimmed over the error! Must also have been caffeine-deficient at the time 😀
Starting my first ever adult #lego set, with (lots of) help from my 11 year old son. Could get into this rightly, mindful wee practice.
The kids use free chatgpt to write the work and then the staff use free studiosity to mark the work absolutely no one gets anything out of it including the companies. I think I'm having an existential breakdown
