I just want someone to say this to him:

“OK, I see. You think this has nothing to do with you.”

Ed Balls helped cause the student loans mess while he was in government.

His wife Yvette Cooper is still in government.

That he doesn’t have to declare these facts during each political interview (and that they don’t make him unsuitable for this TV presenter gig entirely) enrages me so much.

Could they at least try to not make it so transparent that the UK is just a vassal state of the US? 🤡

Only slightly livid that I could be watching this in person but didn’t know about it. 😅

I've just listened to the BBC's news on Radio 4 (where it wasn't even top billing) and now BBC One's News at Six and the reporting is just… wild.

So many "some people might say it could be at risk of being considered a possible, at worst, just maybe, something like a war crime". 🫠

Starmer enjoyed his first genocide so much that he can’t wait to collab on his second!

Gay veteran denied access to military compensation scheme A reparations scheme offers up to £70k to those who were forced to leave the military for being gay.

Regular reminder that the UK’s ban on gay people serving in the armed forces was only lifted after a judgment from the European Court of Human Rights👇

Surprising how often people don't mention that.

A noose.

That’s a sick mind.

“withdrawn because of inaccuracy, lack of evidence of performance advantage, excessive cost including the cost of counselling, and the trauma and stigmatisation experienced by athletes and their families.”

But apart from those issues I guess they’re great. 🫠

I mean if the following statement from the British Journal of Sports Medicine doesn’t make you ponder whether sex testing is wrong I don’t know what will.

Another #BrexitBonus! 😬

And I just find it horrible that animals are referred to by the metric tonne. My very vague calculation makes it about 55,600 cows. All that industrialised death is so grotesque.

When movies were shot on physical film, the film was measured in feet.

This is why any recorded thing is now called ‘footage.'

This would be incredible, and is way overdue. Currently people see renewable energy as more expensive when it isn’t.

I choose to pay more for a 100% renewables tariff but that’s only more expensive because the prices are set by oil prices, which I don’t use. It makes zero sense.

A viral dog rescue from 2016 is now immortalized with a statue in Kazakhstan. When a dog fell into the Sayran reservoir, bystanders formed a human chain to pull him to safety. The statue is a reminder of the value of unity, solidarity and collective action. 14/10 for all

No, wait, that's the UK.

Just home from seeing ‘Titanique’ and—along with ‘Oh Mary!’—2026 is the year of me seeing utterly wonderfully stupid shows at the theatre. What’s next? 💙
