Dog.
Is this what it felt like to take Juno Beach? Or puncture the Gothic Line? Or liberate Belgium? Gotta be close.
Video obtained by CNN shows the rear landing gear of the jet buckling and the right wing shearing away in a fireball after the plane landed hard on the runway.
I hope America is as lucky as the delta jet - everyone survives but the right wing explodes
Mr. Gotcha meme. A modern day dressed man pops out of a well with a crazy smug look on his face while addressing another man who appears to be a medieval serf. Text reads: serf. We should improve society somewhat. Smug man. Yet your participate in society. Curious! I am very intelligent.
A whole lotta peoples' super bowl takes sure feel a lot like this. I hate to break this to you all, but virtually every single form of mass entertainment, from participants to distribution platform, to the devices we use to consume them, is in some way exploitative. Let people have a little joy.
At the end of the day it feels kind of good to feel patriotic again.
You know what’s actually really neat and cool? The rule of law.
It’s a crossbody bag now.
Deeply in denial about going back to work tomorrow.
Nice
I made a thing but I’m not sure what to do with it. Maybe a bag?
Consider yourself warned. Last year we learned on Christmas morning.
For the second year in a row we’ve learned far too late that our oldest has been “making wishes in my heart for Santa” which are never said aloud for Santa to actually reasonably plan for and it’s decidedly not chill and not cool.
After 2.5 years I finished my Invisalign program today and let me tell you it is so bizarre to have a smile I feel good about. If you’re thinking about fixing your teeth do it. Worth every penny.
Not 3, I saw pictures and he’s definitely a human being.
This is extremely cool
This requires elaboration. I don’t make the rules.
Golden retriever puppy with a sad derpy face sitting in a snowy field with houses, trees, and a sunset behind him. He has snow on his nose because he is an absolute menace even though he seems deceptively sweet in this picture.
Do you want to see a dog?
I said less weird than Y2K and they didn’t even know what that was.
Feeling ancient after a student said to me today “what was it like to live through the Mayan calendar apocalypse?”
10/10 response
Someone called this mass exodus from Twitter ‘the fall of the Broman Empire’ and I died laughing. 💀

Thought of you and this on my drive this morning. Again, not the same as ALS but this really speaks to the grief associated with being a caregiver to someone that you lose slowly. Might be worth a listen when you feel ready.
No tips for you but lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s and much like ALS the grief was spread out over many years. Anticipatory grief took care of a lot of the harder parts but there was a lot of guilt associated with not grieving in the typical way. A support group sounds wonderful.
Teaching is weird because you’ll have a meeting about a kid that smashes your heart into one thousand pieces and then you just have to go teach the techniques of dictatorships as though everything is fine.
Every skeet I see bemoaning the term skeet makes my commitment to skeeting even stronger.
“bluesky is an echo chamber” everywhere’s an echo chamber i’m going with the one without cybertruck guys
And thank you for your research ♥️
Education colleagues, I found this very helpful to reflect on my own actions in the classroom and the ways I work to help students feel safe.
