Latest project is inching along!
Not quite as fast as I'd like to be going, but this one has MUCH more original assets and I really don't want to rush anything if I don't have to. ✨

It’s time.
Thanks to everyone who helped raise 35k for charity, forcing me to make this god forsaken video

I enjoyed Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits when I played it... what feels like CENTURIES ago, but if there's ONE SONG that stuck in my head it's this. The nostalgic grip it's had on me since then is crazy.

I've been LOVIN' my time with Crimson Desert. Having a game I can just hop into, play, and kinda just ignore the story is great. EVERY game? No. But it's nice when there's a selection!
But right now it crashes when opening the map, so I'm putting it aside until it's patched.
Scarmonde is currently 35% OFF for the Steam Spring Sale! ✨

Getting around to creating NPCs can seem daunting, but once I jump into it I get wrapped up in popping them out!

"Extremely solid. Excellent level design and enemy sprites. Huge replay value with the myriad classes. The quality of writing is a big (and largely un-advertised) bonus. This game is very good at engaging the player's curiosity." -Casa Serena
A rare (and welcome) ITCH Review! 👏

🌟Scarmonde's officially sold OVER 5000 COPIES!🌟
👏👏👏
Thanks for the support and all of the incredible reviews, everyone!! 😁
There are some games whose style makes their animated cutscenes look... unimpressive.
Metaphor is one such game. It had such an incredible graphical style, while the animated scenes felt and looked very bland in comparison. I honestly was never excited to watch them.

A friend had a random cat named after me show up to their place in Mewgenics.
Neat 😮
equipment and swapping abilities, etc. I don't think it HAS to be conquerable on the first attempt. Possible? For sure! But if EVERY boss is a casual experience without caring about resistances, etc. then I'd lose motivation to play with the equipment, and I fear everything would feel very bland
(1/2) I think it depends on the kind of game it is when it comes to this approach. Is there a very limited amount of equipment, and is every player arriving at said boss with the exact same spells/abilities? If it's a linear experience, sure! But if the game's built around constantly changing
I should mention that what I described is what I'd call "TOO difficult," and not just "difficult." I hate word limits!
"Difficult" to me would probably imply you have NO CHOICE but to grind, and it is mandatory to have absolutely all of the best gear with no room for error. Or have some incredibly specific strategy that NEEDS to be followed, like something best kept for a post-game optional boss

Yeah, those situations are a l'il different. I'm referring to if you get access to all of these ailments, etc. but the best thing to do is just attack.
I love having to buff myself and debuff enemies, making using my my status ailments, and shifting around my equipment/accessories!
Honestly I LOVE having “just enough” told to me by a game. I don’t want all of the answers, or to go in-depth into the how and why of everyone and everything.
It’s why I love FromSoft games so much.
Dang that scene in Pilchard between Maribel and the Hero really made me emotional. Definitely tugged on a heartstring or two!
My ONLY real complaint about Dragon Quest VII is how absent the characters feel during most scenes. Everyone talks at them, and they rarely converse
I can't say I'm the biggest fan of overly hard games, but if a game is TOO easy (with no way to change it), it's got a FAR HIGHER chance of losing me and having me drop it.
I don't like 75% of my abilities to be relatively useless and basically boil down to menu decoration.
