Imo it's the other way round. The 'decent person' myth was constructed around Starmer to hide his faults and get him elected. He's been a power hungry, ruthless, and duplicitous person all along and I think that'll only become more clear as he becomes increasingly desperate to hold on to power

I'm a senior civil servant and my job is keeping naughty secrets from the Prime Minister. Tee hee, I'm so mischievous!
Green Party MP, Hannah Spencer, holding a sign which says: I signed the letter... Not In Our Name: Women in support of the trans+ community NION logo NotInOurName.org.uk
A big thank you to Hannah Spencer MP for signing our letter and standing in clear support of the trans+ community.
Like Hannah, many women from across the political spectrum have joined the 101,000+ UK women who have already signed our letter - Women in support of the trans+ community.
Apart from the carer issue there's the issue of who is enforcing this when teachers are already often feeling threatened at work. There's also a not insignificant amount of parents who now believe they should be able to contact their child whenever they want that will cause havoc
Butter chicken tsunami sounds like what you'd say to deter someone from using the toilet directly after you...
'I'd give it five, it's like a butter chicken tsunami in there!'
And if you want a vengeance demon to be your friend, ask her how her money is doing.
Here's my excuse to share Isabella Rossellini dressed up as various creatures that wouldn't be able to enter Noah's Ark because they don't reproduce one male/one female:

0.000% of Communism has been built. Evil child-murdering billionaires still rule the world with a shit-eating grin. All he has managed to do is make himself *sad*. He is starting to suspect Kras Mazov *fucked him over* personally with his socio-economic theory.
I don't believe humans are ever altruistically good, but in most circumstances kindness is beneficial to both parties. It's only through conditioning and removal of consequence that cruelty becomes a beneficial act
If I was writing newspaper headlines I'd go with:
WILL MANDY SCANDY BRING DOWN STARMER?
I must (not) chug away!
As we're talking about Kezia Dugdale let's remember better times when Sophy Ridge introduced Kezia, a lesbian, as the leader of 'Scottish Labia'. What a Freudian slip and quite an achievement that Kezia doesn't look proud of at all
JK literally wants people like Kezia imprisoned for supporting trans youth and yet she thinks there's compromise to be made? What a fool
Literally watched this at the cinema yesterday. Great film!
Take the wrong lesson from a movie:
Home Alone
Being abandoned by your family is fun, actually
Had a lovely day out and then a health scare when I got home. Phoned 111 and they wanted me to wait for a GP call just in case within an hour which hasn't materialised after 4 hours so I'm going to bed now.
I mean purely from Labour's perspective. I am happy for them to destroy themselves if the Greens can surge further up because of it
I don't think that's a problem for the cabinet as they have no desire to be on the left. The risk is the whole government gets tarred with the Starmer brush of unpopularity and it can't govern
It's giving, 'This is gonna be my year!'
I'm sure Pragmata is a great game but the concept of male protagonist with an android companion that looks like a doll-like child feels so incredibly stale tbh
Is it too much to ask for a gay Pierre Novellie to be my boyfriend?
Everyone make sure you get The Quiet Things on release so BAFTA can eat shit grovelling when it gets a bunch of nominations next year x
Genuine question...why do we have gendered wards in hospitals at all?
I think the rage is real. Either he's been forced to do this pre-getting ousted or he's just raging at the audacity of the reporter asking him direct questions
Is Starmer so adverse to taking responsibility for his actions that he's chosen to metaphorically kick himself in the balls in front of the nation?
He is so bad at this!
I mean, at least the barely under control rage as he says 'I was not told...' is a recognisable human emotion from Starmer which is a step up from his usual robotic delivery
Lame in both senses of the word
