Wasn't sure how it'd turn out and I'm wondering if the metal is too shiny for #maggotkin but I wanted it to pop a little and I think it does that much.

My issue with these was that my #maggotkin basing scheme doesn't really suggest swamp / mire.
Although I like the green they often get, I went with earthy on mine to align with the base.

I grew up with Felix and Gotrek and I always enjoyed a classic gruff fantasy dwarf. Shout out to Flint Fireforge. So I definitely had to paint this guy one day.

Stegadon! Fun story I accidently melted the original skink chief that comes with this kit whilst impatiently trying to dry his primer. I replaced him with Huachi from the Starblood Stalkers warband.

Hopefully they're available. Your can get them in the colour sets from army painter which is super convenient for me because I'm a dummy so it's nice to have it all laid out "this is one step lighter than this" etc etc.

Took a couple of weeks to paint up these two squads of Einhyr Hearthguard (or Angry Potatoes as I saw them called).
I built one with disintegrators and power fists, the other with plasma pistols and blades.

Thanks, it's a somewhat accidental variant of one of the official GW schemes but with a bit brighter turquoise and I think my off whites are warmer than the citadel paint jobs too. I have lots of dirty / grimey minis so these Votann are me trying to paint mostly clean.
I'm rather pleased at how my Thunderkyn turned out. They look sufficiently chunky and came together relatively (for me at least) quickly.
