Mason Greenwood was suspended immediately following the online disclosure by his victim. He never played for Utd again.
Partey, arrested in July 22, played a further 111 times for Arsenal. Due to child protection measures the club would have been made aware of the allegations, and chose to play him

Given Trump’s Easter threats to carry out new war crimes in Iran, we should think one or two steps ahead about a coup attempt connected to the war. And then deter it. (1/17)

Not necessarily in court.
The CPS must ask:
“Can we prove beyond reasonable doubt that this was NOT self-defence?”
If they cannot confidently answer yes, the evidential test fails and they should not charge.

The vulnerability of the victim “eggshell skull rule” is irrelevant to liability.

The force used must be reasonable in the circumstances as you believed them to be. Mistaken belief can and does matter, if it honestly held. It is a high bar but one against conviction.

Tonight the clocks go forwards and we lose an hour of sleep. Personally I think the whole thing is completely unnecessary ⏰

In my experience, they repeatedly lied in our communication but were unwilling to repeat the falsehoods in court.

If you think you have a case I would go for it.

Although not expenses, I was refused compensation for a cancelled flight. The airline claimed it was beyond their control due to a strike in Athens. I took them to a small claims court hearing where they failed to attend. I was awarded compensation and expenses.

Good Luck!

'Mini Switzerland' plan for Peak District transport network The idea would see buses arriving before trains pull into stations to improve connectivity.

Fantastic to see my Mini Switzerland idea covered by the BBC.

It captures so many people’s imaginations because it’s both obvious, simple and yet - from where we are today - unspeakably radical.

I call on my party and my government to remove themselves entirely from X and communicate with the public where they actually participate online and can be protected from such illegality.

Don't forget to come back and tell everyone what you think, I love it but fear it may come across a bit dated.

It was going wide, but then again Cuhna's was initially, before it curled back in. I am loathe to award own goals unless absolutely unavoidable.

Glad you enjoyed your visit, fingers crossed you might be sat next to Ole on the way home. On your next visit, try catching one of the women's matches, they play at Leigh Sports Village. Tickets are usually available and great value. We paid £80 for a season ticket.

For anyone who wants to know more about the criminal justice and how it actually works, as opposed to how it is portrayed.
This new series by @joannahs.bsky.social is very enjoyable, bringing more than a few smiles and a great many nods from this retired detective.

It was at noon today, involving the playoff teams only, I believe the draw on 21 Feb settles who we play inc potential opponents to the final.

Yes! it is very good and from what I recall a good adaptation of the novel, although it is long time since I read it.
