With the holiday travel season upon us, may I offer some reminders:
1) Unless you have mobility issues, please don’t yank the back of the seat in front of you when you are standing/sitting.
2) Large item in the overhead, small one under your seat.

Okay Bluesky friends - give me your best healthy meal prep recipes. I’m hoping to bring more meals with me for my trips this year to save money and be healthier. No dietary restrictions, and I eat just about anything!
And following up on that: be kind to the gate agents, flight attendants, and other airport employees. We are all working over the holidays so you can be with your family/friends. A simple thank you, acknowledgement (saying hello) during boarding, or a smile is all it takes to help brighten our day.
Holiday Travel Tip 3: Pack your patience. There are a record number of people traveling this weekend, an arctic blast preparing to come down on the Midwest, and a shortage of air traffic controllers. Flights get delayed, and most of the time it is out of the airline’s control. Be kind.
Holiday travel tip 2: Give yourself PLENTY of time to get to the airport and to get through security. This weekend is going to be super duper busy. I’d much rather have time for an overpriced airport cocktail before travel than to be running Home Alone style through the terminal.
Holiday travel tips: If you have dietary restrictions, always bring snacks that you know are within your requirements just in case the airline doesn’t have anything that fits.

Being required to wear heels and work 4 flights and then have to hike across the airport for your last flight with no chance to get food is torturous.
