This was what Snivellus deserved for trying to take what wasn't his. For trying to take what rightfully belonged to James are the thoughts that he repeats to himself when he drags Snape's limp body out of the party and to any empty classroom.

He shouldn't be doing this.

But, James was his brother and more important than Snape. It was Snivellus's fault anyways he decides, for following him so easily to this party in the room of requirement after telling him Lily had requested for him to join them.

It's terrible and at any other time Sirius would wallop anyone that would do this. But it's Snivellus he tells himself, easily slipping that dodgy potion he purchased from Knockturn Alley into the Slytherin's drink.

Draco at his wits end, tbh, but at the same time he's looking forward to whatever dumb thing it is that Potter will do to try and woo him. I can see this being a funny kind of hpdm or a dark harry situation.
