The idea that Stephanie McMahon did a lot for women's wrestling is propaganda. WWE presents her as a feminist icon so their record of abuse, objectification, and misogyny is ignored. Especially now, when they've sold their women's roster out to Saudi Arabia as false signposts of feminist progress.

I've been saying it for years: pro wrestling's growth market isn't casual sportsball fans. It's figure skating fans, gymnastics fans, people who watch soaps, folks who watched Project Runway or Drag Race, folks who get excited about the MET gala. The selling point is exhibition, not competition.

I am SO happy that #MysteryWrestling23 has drawn this huge crowd.

Mystery Wrestling is one of the few indies I keep tabs on because they actually do different shit, and I think they deserve the world.

Doesn't make sense from what I can remember. The chants got loud on the last break, but I dont rmember being drowned out. Not something that stayed fresh in my memory.

Of note, the pretaped swears were bleeped in the arena for Dynamite last night.

My only disappointment lies in the fact that I missed out on relevant content to the greater story of AEW by attending it live.

It’s best enjoyed while hanging out with your family.
