The boy did not answer questions on his motivation and the video posted on Telegram by Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya - the circumstances remain under investigation by the police
He will be sentenced in June. The 19-year-old man arrested over the same incident also remains under investigation
A 17-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to Saturday night's arson attack on Kenton United Synagogue in Harrow, where he threw a petrol bomb through a window
He told the police he has "no hate towards the Jewish
people", did not know the building was a synagogue and had no intention of hurting anyone
Arrests have been made in several other countries in relation to attacks claimed by Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya and at least two other foiled plots (in France and the Netherlands)
Police and intelligence agencies in the affected countries are sharing information as it emerges
Since the Golders Green ambulance attack on 23 March - which was the first attack claimed by Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya in Britain - 23 people have been arrested
8 people have been charged with arson-related offences, while 13 people remain in custody or on bail under ongoing investigation
Separately, a 39-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act in Ealing, west London, this morning over the Kensington Gardens drone incident
Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya claimed they had dropped radioactive material, but police the jars found contained a "non-hazardous substance"
3 men, aged 24, 25 and 26, were arrested in Harpenden on Sunday
Yesterday a 25-year-old man was arrested in Stevenage and a 26-year-old man, and two women, aged 50 and 59, were arrested in a car near Birmingham
They all remain in custody or on bail under continuing investigation
Interesting new development in the wave of arson attacks that have hit London in recent weeks
Counter Terrorism Policing say they have made 7 arrests in relation to conspiracy to commit arson against a "venue related to the Jewish community." The statement said that the specific target is unknown
Senior National Coordinator for Counter Terrorism Policing Vicki Evans said:"Individuals carrying out these crimes often have no allegiance to the cause and are taking quick cash"
She urged people not to take the money & said they will be "thrown away without a second thought" by those tasking them
In a new statement this afternoon, counter-terror police have been much clearer that they are investigating this group and its potential links to Iran
They are investigating whether it is "recruiting violence as a service" for payment

The Metropolitan Police has now confirmed they are investigating the incident at Kenton United Synagogue, saying their officers noticed the fire while on patrols caused by the previous attacks
Here is their statement:
I verified this claim while waiting to go live on LBC this morning about our story, which is quite some timing
You can hear my contribution here from 9.39am onwards

Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya has claimed responsibility for another attack in London overnight - on the Kenton United Synagogue in Harrow
We await confirmation from the police but its video appears to show someone throwing a molotov cocktail at the building

Arson attacks on Jewish targets may be linked to group recruiting teens on Snapchat, report John Simpson and Lizzie Dearden
Proxies for Iran or Hezbollah could be behind wave of fire bombings and foiled plots in London and across Europe

The Met said it mounted the search after being made aware of HAYI's video, but "have since assessed the items and have not identified any harmful or hazardous substances. As a result, there is no risk to the wider public and the search has concluded"
Counter Terrorism Policing are investigating
News just in from the Metropolitan Police that Kensington Gardens has reopened and "two jars containing a powdered substance" were found to be non-hazardous
HAYI's video had shown two people in boilersuits posing with the drones alongside two jam jars (Bonne Maman to my eye) containing white powder
Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya has claimed responsibility for the attempted arson attack on a Jewish business in Hendon last night - its 4th attack in London in 3 days
Pick up tomorrow's @theobserveruk.bsky.social for my full report on the group's activities with @thejohnsimpson.bsky.social ✒️
At press conference today, Senior National Coordinator for Counter Terrorism Policing Vicki Evans said: "At this very early stage, we are open minded about the motivations for these attacks."
She said all incidents remained under investigation and that she wouldn't "speculate" on what's behind them
If the attacks are found to have been on behalf of a foreign state, they may fall under the National Security Act
If they are found to be for a political, religious, racial or ideological cause, they can be declared as terrorism
If it's hostility against Jews short of that it will be hate crime
Counter Terrorism Policing said they were leading the investigations due to the "nature and circumstances", pointing to "the similarity with all 3 being arsons, the nature of the buildings and locations of the incidents" and unprecedented level of activity with "suspected links to foreign states"
Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyya has not so far claimed responsibility for the attack on the Persian media outlet, which does not fit with its pattern of targets across Europe
Dissident journalists in London have previously been a target for Iranian proxies

Desperately sad report from Press Gazette:
"The Evening Standard had 346 staff members when Lebedev first bought it in 2009."
Under the new structure it reportedly has just 6 news reporters
...motivated by an "intention to exact revenge against the Israeli government for its alleged murder of women and children"
The jury was told of remarks he made to police officers at the scene and after his arrest about the Gaza war
Albadri denies all offences and the trial continues
Many people may find the small boat detail irrelevant, but I'm laying out the facts because it has today been the angle taken by several national media outlets including the BBC
The prosecution case is that Albadri's attempt to enter the Israeli embassy with knives and a "martyrdom note" was...
This man's trial started at the Old Bailey today, where he denies preparing an act of terrorism
The court heard that he had arrived twice by small boat in the UK (leaving between) and had his asylum claim refused
I believe him to be the first small boat migrant charged with a UK terror plot
Today's report is just phase 1 of the Southport inquiry, looking in depth at Rudakubana's case
Phase 2 will explore the wider policy, safeguarding and
online harms issues arising from these findings, so there are likely to be a lot more significant questions and recommendations in this area
