I was just told of an HBO special on Billy Joel. And that it's got some shots of me in the studio with him. I remember I'd joined him, along with Steve Gadd, just to play some songs live for label execs, so they could be impressed by their artist (which they were!)

"Floating in Dark Waters" is a track from my album, “Bringing It Down to the Bass” that features Robert Fripp and Jerry Marotta. The bass I played is a vintage Steinberger - the very first one, in fact.
