I went to the movies with a friend and saw Project Hail Mary and really enjoyed it as someone who is not an avid sci-fi media follower. My friend really enjoyed it and wanted to watch it with me and I had a good time.
I think the worst thing about the temporary cc processor removal was feeling powerless and also fearful to even speak out. Artists, translators, editors, letterers, logistics, customer service. Within companies are people and it feels as though a cc processor can just strong arm at a whim.
Thank you to the girl who helped show me where the barbell pads were at the gym because I almost walked out from being nervous. I didn't know where anything was and just felt dumb, but that small act of kindness kept me feeling confident enough to push through
Next week I start some evening watercolor classes and I'm really looking forward to it
The comfy feeling of a completed end of year into a fresh new one is a little daunting but here's to pushing through it and accomplishing things together

Today I'm having a very small dinner with my elderly neighbor who would otherwise just be alone for Christmas. I don't know if it's the volatile time we live in or I'm just getting older but I've been finding it more important to know my neighbors and share kindness. Happy holidays everyone ⭐

I spent over 4 hours putting a couch together. This was my first time getting a nice couch for my new space and last time I put a couch together I only had to put feet on the bottom of it. These were couch parts, I built a couch. 😩

I went with a friend to a holiday party tonight and it was Hawaiian themed lol. The last time I saw a luau was with my mom before she died, I'm really glad her and I got to experience that together before she left. Crazy how after 9 years it can still surprise you and hit you blindly at the loss.
I'm going to be taking a watercolor class this January in my cities art center and I'm very excited about it. Your paintings have always been at the top of my list of favorites ❤️

Getting a sunlamp for my living room has really helped with the evening sleepiness. I swear 5:30 hits and I'm ready for bed, but I guess with the lamp on helps my circadian rhythm keep going

Every time I watch Max I think how badly I want a dog just like him. Originally I started pet sitting because I wasn't ready for a pet due to my cat passing away, but now because I pet sit I can't get a pet lol On the flip side I get to meet and spend time with many great dogs.

My favorite dog is visiting, I love him so much, he's the best and he knows it. Bear hugs, belly rubs and when you're kneeling by him he'll put his arms up to give you a big hug
I got to take Freya to work with me today and spend the afternoon together. She looves her sweatshirt which I find impossibly adorable haha
