A man dressed as a bat, poisoned by a psychotic clown's blood all while stuck in a city run by the most dangerous criminals in the world? Only in Gotham.
@localpsychic.net and I return to the cold criminal streets of #Batman Arkham City.

While I do understand that it's really hard to moderate a service that sees roughly 212+ million monthly active users ... you'd think that a service with that big of a base would have at least SOMETHING that would help with this issue by now?
Or at the very least a 'human being' to talk to?
It's the relentlessness that's so gross about it.
The text-only emails I could just ignore, but the finding me on other platforms with DMs with fake screenshots 'proving' I'm banned somewhere, then telling me to join a fake Discord server to 'clear my name'?
...because of a 'Minecraft' account??
Just in the last 3 days, I've gotten:
2 more emails (1st from a guy resending the last email as a reply saying my account was stolen, 2nd from another MC Database saying I was banned for selling my account; both emails using fake screenshots)
And a DM on Instagram offering $1,500 for my account.
You outta know... there's plenty wrong with us. @localpsychic.net and I are back with one of Kirby's all time favorite games; a tale about a night of vengeance, of twisted riddles, and a race against the clock in #Batman Arkham City.

As someone who does function within the Apple ecosystem (phone, tablets, computers) for 15+ years, I can’t stand people who make it their mission to shame those who don’t. Folks gotta use what works for them.
But yeah, the Magic Mouse ain’t it. It has cool functions, but it’s an ergonomic ordeal.
Oh boy it's time for more Metroid Prime 4 I wonder what we're doing tonight: www.twitch.tv/zerokirby
It's the Fourth Round in the Fourth Game. That's gotta mean something special, right?
@localpsychic.net and I return at our trip across space on a bike made by space axolotls within the #MarchofMetroid with #MetroidPrime4 Beyond!

If found yourselves here out of interest, or simply toppled out of the stream of the internet and turned up here: I hope this was at least an interesting thread to skim through.
May you have a better day at some point.
=EPZ
(…I really hope I don’t have to keep adding to this thread…) [39/39]
It'll be on my terms, which for me is enough. God forbid these nutcases don’t deserve to get any satisfaction beyond what they’ve already pry’d into my life about a freaking Minecraft Cape of all the things.
I’ll smile knowing they'll will be vexed about it not getting this one. [38/39]
To the Minecraft Account Scalping Creeps who possibly will come roaming around these parts: Kindly, Get Bent.
I’m not for sale. Maybe I will delete my Minecraft account at some point out of spite. Maybe I won’t. Ain't that a stinker.
"The suspense is terrible... I hope it'll last." [37/39]
It’s not about the Minecraft account, or about the Cape, is it?
It’s about ownership and perceived value of something.
It’s the owning of someone’s personal data that they just salivate over because they either want to make money or they want to own that person’s identity that badly. [36/39]
I still have the memories, the stories, the screenshots, the photos, the videos from the 15 years. And the items from MineCon 2016. Heck, I’d even buy the game again just to play with my friends.
“BuT wHy WoNt YoU jUsT sElL mE tHe AcCoUnT” I can hear one of them typing; let’s talk about it. [35/39]
I’m genuinely considering just ticking all of these weirdos off and just deleting the Minecraft account entirely.
It won’t be easy, but it can be done.
Yeah, I’d be deleting a 15+ year account, losing access to my username and won’t get it back… but like… ALL this ain’t worth it, man. [34/39]
So, to recap: the email associated with the Minecraft account can’t be changed due to the Microsoft Migration & no one can help. Changing the username does nothing.
No one at Minecraft/Mojang can do anything.
And I now get messages from different places multiple times a day?
Ugh… [33/39]
Oh my god, WHILE I posting this thread I just got another email, this time from Caped GG saying I was banned cause someone was trying to sell my account in their Discord Server.
Previously it was NameMC. Now this?
This crap just keeps freaking going, man… and for what, even?? [32/39]
Someone, just yesterday, just reached out to me with this “I guess I’ll shoot my shot” message (trying to just sound like a totally-regular-guy I guess) and offered $2000 for the entire account.
I just want to play Minecraft with my friends in peace, you weirdos. [31/39]
And as one delightful insult to injury, changing your username in Minecraft is basically useless because it just changes the display name and does nothing if they already know the email associated with the account. Which had already been pwn'd to hell and back again. [30/39]
So, not only was I just completely upstream without a paddle in terms of getting any help on the matter, but I now just had to deal with this problem. Year, after year, after year.
All because I created the account at a certain time and attended something with my friends.
..cool… [29/39]
At one point I just got fed up and just tried asking literally anyone I could email if I could just get the damn cape removed from the account.
Apparently, that’s another total impossibility, cause did they not know how to do it, no one ever asked that before.
I mean, are we for real? [28/39]
The most “help” I ever got was a post on answers(.)microsoft that said: “Once your Minecraft / Microsoft accounts are linked, the email can’t be changed. You can change the alias, but the original email will still be your Minecraft account access.”
Which is just maddeningly unhelpful. [27/39]
The AI Chatbot on Mojang’s Help Page website is useless and tells me to go talk to Microsoft. I traverse page after page of FAQs and Customer Help Sections that after spending an hour trying to find any answer, it gives me a link to go back to Mojang’s Help Page.
Because you know. Sure. [26/39]
Also, fun fact: Mojang / Minecraft / Microsoft customer support is genuinely nightmarish and inconsequentially labyrinthine for literally no reason at all. Honestly, no one has been able to even give me the slightest since of help or even comfort about anything I’ve been dealing with. [25/39]
And in case you don’t know: No, you can’t just GIVE your Minecraft account to someone. Your Minecraft account and Microsoft accounts are the same thing after the 2023 merge; there’s no separating them. It's all one big package.
Begs the question on what they are actually after, doesn't it? [24/39]
The most recent attempts have been these creeps sending out invite links to (“TOTALLY REAL DISCORD SERVERS”) and claiming to know someone whose trying to sell my account, claiming they own it.
They don’t. They never did. They’re just hoping I’m stupid enough to fat-finger the invite link. [23/39]
A few years ago, a friend of mine had to lock their Minecraft server that a group of us play on down and establish a whitelist because random people just started joining it. I only then found out that people can just SEARCH what servers users frequent.
OH, WELL THAT’S HANDY DANDY, HUH? [22/39]
Quick rundown of the ways they’ve tried to contact me about my Minecraft account:
Texts/emails messages to my personal contacts.
Left comments on my YouTube channels.
Sent DMs on Twitter, Reddit, deviantART, & Discord.
A few of them even filled out my contact form sheet on my website. [21/39]
By that point, MC2016 was 6 years ago. And the hilarious part is: these jackasses are STILL trying to get this cape/account. And they’ve done freaking EVERYTHING to try and weasel their way into my life to try and get it. Sometimes impressively, other times just pathetically? [20/39]
After 3 days of texts and phone calls, I had enough and had my phone number changed.
Texted a few close contacts; even made a post about it on Facebook (another place I’ve since untethered from because of it’s nonsense), letting folks know “got a new number, message me if you want it” [19/39]
The part that I found really funny, however, was the absurd amounts of “money” these people offer for my cape/account over the years. Ranging from $50 USD for just the cape, a couple hundred, into four digits, to one guy claiming to offer $70k in etherium craptocurrency.
Which like … no? [18/39]
