Kuwait has detained US citizen and award-winning journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin for 50 days for the "crime" of reporting on the US-Israeli war on Iran. Ahmed is just one of scores arrested in the country since the start of the Iran war. Kuwaiti authorities must release him NOW. #JournalismIsNotACrime

Kuwait's detention of U.S. citizen & journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin over social media posts is a serious violation of his right to freedom of expression. Vague claims of “national security” are not a valid reason to violate human rights. Release Ahmed. Journalism is not a crime!
Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, a US citizen & journalist, was arrested in Kuwait in March on vague charges meant to silence free speech.
No reporter should be arrested for doing their job.
Release Ahmed, NOW.

New: We joined a broad coalition urging Senators to pass @sanders.senate.gov's resolutions to block new arms sales to Israel.
This is a critical opportunity for Congress to enforce U.S. arms transfer law, protect civilians, and help ensure that the ceasefire with Iran remains in place.
Yesterday, Israeli strikes across Lebanon killed 250+ people even as Pakistan said the ceasefire it brokered includes Lebanon.
Netanyahu urged Trump to start this war, now Trump must demand he help end it.

Enough is enough. Egyptian authorities should immediately release prominent activist, poet and political writer Ahmed Douma from pretrial detention and to stop their systematic campaign of judicial harassment against him.

The U.S. must immediately make clear to Israel that the ceasefire agreement is not and cannot be functional without a ceasefire in Lebanon. The American people want this war to end and bombing downtown Beirut is not a path to peace.

Where is the outrage? More lawmakers must speak out against this dangerous rhetoric and stand up for the rights and safety of Arab and Muslim Americans.
Yesterday, members of the "Sharia-Free America Caucus" took to the House floor to deliver an hour of unabashed bigotry and anti-Muslim hate speech.
When members of Congress use their platform to spew this vitriol and hate, they threaten religious freedom and put Arab and Muslim Americans at risk.
March 26, 2026 Trump's Iran War Costs: $31.6 billion And your gas prices are... In Massachusetts: $3.77 In the US: $3.98 Donald Trump pointing: "I did that!"
It’s been 26 days since Trump started his illegal war with Iran.
Here’s what it’s costing Americans:
This moment deserves more than condemnation. Lawmakers must actively oppose this caucus and fight for the safety and dignity of Arab and Muslim Americans.
Nearly 60 members of Congress have joined a caucus rooted in anti-Muslim and anti-Arab hate. When elected officials use their platforms this way, it puts Arab and Muslim Americans at real risk. The “Sharia-Free America Caucus” isn’t about American values — it’s bigotry with a platform.
In addition to the 13 American servicemembers who have been killed, Trump's war has resulted in the deaths of over 2,000 civilians in the region, including over 100 Iranian school kids.
All of them should be alive today.
To stop the killing we must end the war, NOW.
[2/2] If he has any real interest in peace, Trump should immediately demand both Netanyahu and Hezbollah reach a durable ceasefire agreement, support the Lebanese army in seizing Hezbollah’s missiles, and sponsor eventual direct peace talks between Lebanon and Israel.
[1/2] Tens of thousands in Lebanon are once again caught in the crossfire between Hezbollah and Netanyahu. More than 850 people, at least 107 of them children, have been killed. Israeli evacuation orders and airstrikes have forced 800,000 people from their homes.
A broader, regional war engulfing all of Lebanon is in no one's interests. The US must prioritize mediation efforts and strengthening the ability of the Lebanese state to keep its people safe.
Lebanese civilians are paying the ultimate price for tragic mistakes out of their control, with hundreds killed and nearly one million already displaced from their homes.
The disastrous chain of reckless escalations beginning with the US-Israeli war of choice against Iran, followed by Hezbollah's tragic decision to join the war looks to be culminating in another Israeli ground invasion in Lebanon.
Ranking Member @meeks.house.gov issued a statement following the Trump administration’s decision to invoke the Arms Control Act’s Emergency Authority for multiple cases of over 20,000 bombs worth over $650 million.
This decision will further deplete US stockpiles at the expense of the US taxpayer.
Sending Israel more bombs will allow it to continue recklessly bombing countries as it is currently doing in Iran, Lebanon, and Gaza — endangering millions of people across the region.
🚨 Late Friday night, the State Department invoked the Arms Export Control Act’s emergency authority to bypass Congressional review and provide Israel more than 20,000 bombs worth over $650 million.

politico: Johnson: Congress will pass Iran war funding when ‘appropriate’ Lawmakers expect Trump will seek emergency funding. Meredith Lee Hill Meredith Lee Hill 03/04/2026, 10:10am ET
We are spending a billion dollars a day on this illegal, reckless war. This is taxpayer money that should be going to healthcare and education. Now, Trump wants $50 billion more for a war that Congress has not authorized. Outrageous. No way.
Trump is already spending $1 BILLION PER DAY on his illegal regime change war of choice in Iran.
Now, he's going to ask Congress to give him up to $50 BILLION MORE.
My vote: hell NO.
