(There's a good reason I make point and click games and not shoot em ups haha)
I can't argue with those points, and as a kid I probably wasn't really all that aware of game design, plus I probably used an infinite lives cheat so it didn't matter! It did however have some lovely pixel art and little details in the levels. Another sin was the length of the levels?
Oh and Banshee! And that's probably the only 2 I'd ever care to play nowadays.
Chaos Engine 2 was pretty meh too. I only liked Chaos Engine 1 and Speedball 2 by Bitmap Brothers, overrated dev..
Disposable Hero was good, although I only enjoyed it with cheats!
When a game can look that incredible but my inferior looking wip already has a double click to walk fast, right click on doors to insta travel and all dialogue can be left clicked to advance to the next line. Interesting. ๐
Whaddya mean I'm 44 today, that can't be right, I'm sure I'm still 38 years old. Yes. Everyone wish me a happy 38th birthday.
I did shit on them just now, but from a personal viewpoint of how I became obsessed with them and eventually realised they were making my experiences of games worse. I'm not saying get rid of them, I've just learned how to best approach them for myself.
I've played Assassin's creed shadows for over 60 hours now and I'm missing a good amount of trophies for it. I think if you've put that many hours into a game and you still haven't naturally got 100%, it's a bad trophy list and I'll have to do things I don't want to do to get there. No thanks.
We have found some common ground, huzzah! (Other than other trek shows we didn't discuss lol)
Indeed, I am lacking that nostalgia with it, it was a program I watched when the other 3 channels had nothing on, lol. Credit due though, without it, we wouldn't have all the Treks that followed it. (I would still sooner watch TOS than that Section 31 movie though..)
Likewise! For what it's worth, I also enjoyed alongside the TOS movies (cos they are not campy silly), the point and click adventure games featuring voiceovers of the original cast.
Lmao!!
You shouldn't even be reading this comment I am typing, some people can use a device to make their device read aloud the text for people who need aid for visuals.
I have a 4K compatible TV and a PS5 but I can't even tell any difference with 4k and Blu-ray and I'm usually pretty good at noticing that kind of thing so I'm not sure what the reason is.
Good method.
Sometimes I don't realise I'm bottling up emotions/stress and a song comes on that gives me a buzz and is perhaps melancholic and that'll get me crying! I seem to cry a lot more these days, I don't know why that is lol .
It too was there when I needed it - twice!
Seconded, that makes total sense. ๐
I'm not sure I was as methodical as you but I do remember doing all the post office stuff, that was probably not mandatory.
You're making a lot of assumptions about me! Back in the late 80s and early 90s, I was growing up watching TOS, Lost in Space and TNG. Hardly advanced CGI. I have seen the cgi remasters too, an ex had the boxset and I saw every episode again. I still find it hard to watch. Nothing to do with effects
Finally!! The last game I was putting real people in it like my brother and the game making him hetero is like that's not my bro, game
Nice, is it bad I want to buy the 4K version instead just because I prefer the design of the sleeve more and no other reason?
That's lovely! The pacing for me was too slow and padded, but it did have an impact on me, I don't intend to play it again but I'll always remember my experience of it, and although my own game in development is very different to it, it's premise is inspired by Harold Halibut.
Lol!
I'm curious though, can you actually have gay people in this new game?
This was my annoyance of it on the 3DS original:
youtu.be/McU3pfJBwjw?...
If you're feeling down, do you listen to happy songs or sad songs? I find the most depressing songs in my collection, and if I'm in a real bad state, I break the glass and listen to Eel's End Times.
He probably wanted me to make the whole floor completely flat on a street that's on an incline.
And one early instance of playing a Cello or something before being wisely forgotten about
It's crazy because you never saw anyone complaining about optional subtitles on DVDs
I actually had an experience when I ran a games shop and this guy chose the ramp over stairs and came to the counter huffing and puffing and said "people who designed hills in shops should be shot."
And then, you also will want to find a replacement case so it's not got that horrible reduced plastic holes that can damage the sleeve! Unless someone did that before and you got lucky, cos I can imagine you hate those too..
