ICE detained more than 70 Minnesota children, data reveals Immigration officials detained more than 70 Minnesota children between Dec. 1 and March 10, a Sahan analysis of court records and federal deportation data shows.

70 Minnesota children.

Delta Air Lines, who likely flew nearly all of these kiddos out of MSP, could publicly condemn this and end the practice tomorrow, as the airlines did in 2018 with family separation, but it’s easier to stay silent.

Apparently there is no integrity in the GOP anymore? Signing your name to an agreement means nothing? I am beyond disappointed.

MSP's airport authority, the MAC, met today; I, on behalf of MN50501, along with labor and faith leaders, asked the MAC to pause funding for a proposed Delta lounge, so the airline would meet with community members and discuss good corporate citizenship.

... it didn't go well 🧵👇

Had a good time at SD 56's cribbage night tonight and got to meet with several folks doing good work in their community, talk about various issues, and share some cookies. Now: More spreadsheets!

A dark teal graphic with centered white text that reads "Nearly 40,000 people participated in DFL caucus night this year. They came with a wide range of viewpoints and opinions but chose to make a statement by engaging in our party. Since then,

I’ve traveled across Minnesota and seen the energy in our organizing unit conventions firsthand. It’s real, and much of it is being shaped by the frustration coming out of Operation Metro Surge. DFLers are tired of the cruelty and the constant overreach of this administration.

That’s what makes gimmicks like this so extremely disappointing and exhausting. This is the kind of stuff that makes people wary of engaging in any kind of partisan political activity.

At a time of creeping fascism, we should be looking for ways to continue to expand our coalition, not shrink it.

There will always be people in this party whose views, tactics, and even personalities don’t align with yours. And that’s okay.

But if the whole history of our party has actually taught us anything, from 1968 to 2024, it’s that we win when we do everything in our power to bring voices to the table and lose when we decide to shut voices out.

Anything less misses the moment we’re in. We can and should do better — the question is: will we?"

I posted this message elsewhere, but I think it’s important, as a party leader, to clearly call out what thehumphreyproject.com is: a divisive gimmick designed to split our party heading into our state convention. We have so many new people excited to enagnge in our party — we have to do better.

Last night, we hosted a lecture on general strikes at the Minneapolis Central Library. While downstairs, our Community Aid Team distributed food and medical supplies.

Care and coordination. Relief and resistance. You need both to make change.

This work only happens with your support.

Leadership isn't hiding from the consequences of your actions. It's facing up to them and owning them, even when it's inconvenient.

ESPECIALLY when it's inconvenient.

TBQH, if you don't have the courage to face an upset crowd, I've got zero confidence in your ability to stand up to ICE or Trump.

On Sat, she only went to Eden Prairie & Eagan.

How am I putting in more work than her with significantly less resources?

If she doesn't want to face these crowds because she's scared of a potential negative reaction, what separates her from Emmer and Stauber being too afraid to hold a town hall?

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending conventions on Sat in Eden Prairie, Bloomington, Minneapolis, Eagan, and my own convention on Sun in Saint Paul.

I was also surprised to see Sen. Klobuchar out for the first time on the campaign trail.

But there's a thing here that has me concerned.

I will say, the campaign finance online filing for Minnesota is pretty pain-free and I appreciate being able to simply copy and paste the information I have. I was expecting a much more arduous process.

Speaker Johnson, we are calling on you to bring the House back to DC IMMEDIATELY!

The Cabinet needs to invoke the 25th Amendment. But Congress can’t just sit on its hands and wait for that to happen when the President is threatening to commit war crimes TONIGHT.

Threatening to wipe out an entire civilization is morally bankrupt and a major war crime, risking the lives of innocent civilians - including children.

He seems detached from reality. I don’t know who (if anyone) can get through to him. Congress needs to step in and stop him.

Find and contact elected officials | USAGov Use USAGov’s Contact Your Elected Officials tool to get contact information for your members of Congress, the president, and state and local officials.

Hey folks,

Today is a heavy one. Make sure you make time for self-care today. After that, call your electeds and say we can't have a President threatening genocide and an impeachment must occur as soon as possible.

No Kings Flagship Rally - MN State Capitol YouTube video by Indivisible

Hey folks,

Hope you all had a good weekend. Did you have a chance to watch the No Kings rally in Saint Paul? I wanted to share the moment that was most inspiring to me. It was the creator of Havenwatch talking about how she was inspired by her son's generous actions.

It is work they consider their calling, but it is not for everyone. On a recent visit KUOW made to a prominent Skagit Valley farm, all 100 or so workers were migrants. The vast majority were from Mexico.

While the pay for farmwork stays the same, the cost of groceries, heat and rent continues to climb.

"We have to stretch every dollar we earn," the husband said. "We live with the strain every day now."

Adding to that financial strain is the very real possibility that the couple could be apprehended by ICE and deported to Oaxaca, where both were born but where neither of them has lived since they were children.

Their employer tells them they are protected from federal agents while they work. But that protection ends when they leave at the end of the day and before they arrive every morning.

"There is a lot of stress and a lot of fear whenever we leave the house," the Oaxacan husband said in Spanish. "We do not know if we're going to come back, if we're going to see our children again."

Spent my first campaign funds at a convention yesterday at SD 62. What for? Why accessibility of course. Removing the barriers to participation has always been important for me, and I'm always looking for ways to help make it easier.

So @bencollins.bsky.social inspired me.

In the middle of @katmabu.bsky.social‘s campaign, I had a major life crisis where I was living in an unsafe position and very, very scared. Law enforcement was involved. It was awful.

Kat is the busiest person I know. I am her boyfriend’s business partner.
