I wish Nintendo would at least offer a bundle with a Pro Controller in place of the Joycons. No interest in the Switch 2 as a portable unless they do a Switch 2 Lite.

For what it’s worth I really like Pixar movies, examples of kid friendly CG animated movies that appeal to all ages. Don’t know if they would have done a Mario movie justice but seeing their take on it would be interesting

Not saying that Mario needs to say the F word but people are treating complaints about the movie like adults complaining that a Peppa Pig movie didn’t appeal to them

The movies look nice and I can point at the screen like Leonardo Decaprio and catch small references in the background but that’s about it. I’ll watch the new one at some point out of curiosity

And with a series that has been running for 40 years at this point you’d think they would have had more to appeal to older fans but the first movie just felt like a Dreamworks movie with a Mario skin on it

Guess my two cents around the Super Mario Bros. movie discourse is that the games have always had stuff to appeal to all ages, but these newer movies seem aimed squarely at kids.
