I got two of those just the other day. One was canceled before I even looked at the request because the user was banned. The second, I reported myself. Same kind of deal; posing as staff, trying to link something suspicious in the reference field. 🙃

I've been considering altering my Patreon for this reason. I really want to work on my personal projects. I started a comic last year and haven't even finished chapter one because of everything else on my plate. I'd also like to work on more novels. I have so many ideas, but so little time. 🫠
My hard limit is two weeks. I contact clients after that point, even if it's just to say "hey, I haven't forgotten you." Because I've been there. Waited months with no update from an artist I commissioned, only come to find out that they'd completely forgotten my order. 🫠

I don't have much solo art, but I offer up either of these two.
I'm convinced something similar happened with my PayPal. I used it for commissions. Then I linked it to my 18+ Patreon. Right after, my PP was banned, and I spent weeks on the phone getting the run around. Eventually, I was told that I'd need to get an attorney / subpoena if I wanted to know why.
