In honor of the 15th UBB Mine Disaster Anniversary, @bobbyscott.house.gov and @kaine.senate.gov will introduce the Robert C. Byrd Mine Safety Protection Act.

This will improve mine safety and hold bad employers accountable so miners can safely return home to their families at the end of the day.

Dr. Christopher Mark is a national treasure!! So grateful that he's willing to share his story. If you want miners to be safe and healthy, then they need a strong MSHA and dedicated public servants looking out for them every day.
