If it can hold tools in those arms, I could see that being really useful to keep outside an exploration base on the Moon or Mars, to run to cracks or micrometeor strikes and slap a patch into place faster than astronauts can suit up.

Bird is like "it's my understanding that your species has opposable thumbs and bakes bread."
Also there's a difference between "genetic predisposition" and "nothing else matters."
A person could have something genetic that would go off no matter what when they're e.g. 110, but then stuff that happens could move up the schedule considerably.
The sample size would limit the applicability of statistical inference, but it would be an interesting case series to examine in psychological and psychiatric terms.
Credit scores are a scam and younger than me BUT I'll need the private student loans next year, so doing a credit building savings account thing to game the system.
If any of you also could use that kind of bonus points: www.self.inc/refer/TUS4VBH5
(TBH I get a few bucks from the link also)
I was also like "as in actually or is that a euphemism?" 🤣
whomst among us does not sometimes get the extensive evening screamies
Still not sure how to celebrate Autism Awareness Month? One option is to help an autistic person change to a career that will better match her strengths.

Reposting also helps!
Argee -- for example, there was this thing my nephew would do with his hands when he was little, and even before I had self-identified, I was like I KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS (he was overwhelmed).
We could be the translators if people with power were actually interested in listening.
I'm not joking when I say mRNA technology is more important than "AI" and it's a tragedy we're throwing billions into one while our government is aggressively defunding the other.
Serious question, does ×3 happen before or after punitive damages, in the event the finder of fact finds that type of "absolutely tf not" statement applicable to the situation?
I'm guessing her sentiments on the subject are not far off from "AAAAAAA, leave me out of it!"
Also, you might as well take the odds.
Comparison between elements of a set is subjective. Inclusion in a properly defined set, on the other hand...
The way politicians and professionals can look at problems demonstrably impacted by ongoing covid damage (absenteeism, dramatic increase in heart attacks under 40yrs old since 2020, etc) and go WHAT A MYSTERY feels like Westworld robots
Must I accept the barren Gift,
Learn death, and lose my Mastery?
Then let them know whose is the breath
That binds the Gift and sets them free
Whose is the voice and whose the mind
To set at naught the well-sung Game
When finned finality arrives
And calls me by my secret name
The hell of it is, there's a point in under there about overemphasis on compliance in education BUT...
like, Japan had a better case for attacking pearl harbor than we have for attacking Iran.
and Japan's case for attacking pearl harbor, to be clear, was shit.
OK! No pressure, but anyone who wants to send me a few minutes' worth of law school tuition, here's the link: www.paypal.com/pool/9oo7k80...
If somehow I get more than tuition, I'll be able to cut more work hours to study.
If I get more than THAT, IDK, I'll help classmates or something.
I have gotten deeper into the contract and OH MY FUCKING GOD IT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE GAP
*came in
Let's be honest it's me not autocarrot this time, I'm that mad
And if you saw this exact reply somewhere else before it got deleted and showed up here YES THAT MAD
I would've taken ONE LOOK at the FIRST PAGE of that contract and said to the car lot guy "OK we came it for ABC and you're offering us this, and what we'd like you to do is take it, and fold it over, maybe a couple times but it's your call, and insert it in your anal orifice, then turn it sideways."
I KNOW, RIGHT???
Neither of us were there and I'm wondering if we can get the dude to consent to a rule against purchases that require four or more digits in front of the decimal without one of us being there to slap the pen out of his hand and fight us for it if he's that set on it.
I am over here, fucking horrified and going like "yeah he can talk to a consumer protection type lawyer about that but I think he's going to have to eat the fact that he did a not clever thing, so either sell it on or set his credit on fire eat only beans for six years."
...and BY FUCKING ACCIDENT OF NOT READING IT signed for 72 months of $633 payments.
And we're finding this out a month later bc he didn't read it AFTER either. So WAY outside the three-day cancellation window in this state (yes I looked it up).
FOR EXAMPLE of supervision being necessary:
The late staff members' son/stepson (depending on which) just walked into a car lot, admitted he didn't know what he was doing, said he wanted something he'd be able to pay off in a few months after using a totaled car payout as the down...
My husband is the trustee for the cats whose primary staff members passed last year. (The son and his wife(?) are the cats' hands-on caretakers, but the money has to *last* bc they took in kittens just a couple years ago, so supervision was necessary.)
Happy Tax Day folks. As I pointed out here, the technical arguments about having free tax filing is over. Direct File proved it. What we are seeing now is just rent-seekers bribing policymakers to be allowed to keep extracting money from you.

If the metrics are good, but a large enough percentage are experiencing the economy negatively for words like "vibecession" to be grasped for to explain them away, THE METRICS ARE WRONG.
To me it's just one more reason we need to get people re-housed as quickly as possible, bc who wouldn't pick up a risky coping method or two if that drags on long enough?
