It's always a bummer when you watch a movie you hope you're going to enjoy and it just keeps disappointing you in nearly every scene, only to string you along with a few decent moments that give you hope, right up to the lackluster ending. Movie night can be rough sometimes. 🤣

Invincible
Gave the first season of "Invincible" a watch and I'm enjoying it for the most part. I find myself comparing it to "The Boys" a lot but it's definitely its own thing. If you like animation for adults, I'd recommend what I've seen so far. 👍

...that's called "AI" has those issues. There are plenty of useful algorithmic tools and automations that run locally and aren't based on stolen IP, but gen-AI, which is what most collides with the arts, is a consistent, major offender that needs to go away, or be completely reworked to be valid.
Ergo, the question for me isn't, "Should 'AI products' be considered or valued less than those created by humans?" but "Should 'AI' products exist at all?"
For the above reasons, and many others I won't bother getting into here, the answer is a definitive "no."
To be clear: Not everything...
"AI" is a special case because of the two big deal-breakers associated with its use:
1 - Everything of consequence LLMs generate was stolen from human creators without attribution or compensation of any kind.
2 - The results "AI" data centers produce don't justify the resources consumed by them...
Personally, I don't think things like this are going to matter much in the long run. If you use "AI" in your work, it's eventually going to show, one way or another. Those who do will inevitably be found out and cast aside. Those of us who don't will thrive. In the end, human-made products will win.

It occurs to me that, to a large extent, "social media" has morphed over the past decade or so to the point where the name isn't really representative of the bulk of what transpires on these platforms. In a lot of ways, they're now more about "social commentary" than anything. 🤔

"Slay the Spire 2" is already an excellent game, even in Early Access, but if you've waited this long to play it, I'd highly recommend waiting for the full release to have the best-possible experience. That said, there are some unique things in EA that won't happen after launch.
It's been a busy month, with "The Nemesis Legacy" hitting #1 again and the big sale on "The Nod/Wells Timelines - Volume 1," plus a variety of other events and projects. I'll still be very busy in April and May, finishing up the initial draft of the compendium, but I'll be on social media much less.
