Every single SW game since KOTOR has mentioned that double-bladed lightsabers are primarily used to fight multiple enemies. It’s the whole point of that weapon in Jedi: Survivor.
It’s nothing new, don’t get your panties in a twist.
I don’t think so. They explicitly state “user replaceable, with no prior knowledge or special tools”.
And it seems they learned their lesson from USB cables as well since they mention the fact the batteries cannot be paired to a hardware or a software for “maximum compatibility”.
Let’s hope.
Well the regulation specifically says batteries must be:
- replaceable with standard tools;
- accessible without special equipment;
- unpaired or unlocked at a software level with a specific phone / OS;
- well-documented about how to replace them and,
- available as spare parts for 5-10 years…
Here people took the habit to make their danger lights blink once or twice as a gesture of thanks.
It means that equalling replaceable batteries to a lower quality is the damnedest idiotic comment you could do.
I take the blame for having tried to lower to your level by using a metaphor.
My dad had until yesterday a Nokia E72. It got broken because my mom used the wrong plug while attempting to charge it, destroying the charging port.
That thing was -tough-, and not at all bad looking.
And it had a fully swappable battery. That, anyway, lasted ages on a single charge. So no.
And it was Carter’s administration that told him the Shah was getting too hot to continue supporting him, so they stopped funding his regime while unrest was mounting.
While -everyone- looked at Khomeini and went “looks harmless, we’ll control him afterwards easy-peasy”.
Do you get a free bottle with every purchase?
Ragú meat is supposed to be a mix of Italian sausage meat and ground beef anyway (if I go by the recipe the neighbourhood nonne taught me when I was young), so you didn’t “fuck up” in any possible way.
Which basically means going back to what we -used to have-. Good.
My 80 years old dad’s trusty Nokia E72 just died, it still had an easy to replace battery, that lasted for ages before it needed to be replaced. Solid old thing.
Indeed. One of the latter models.
I said it’s “dumb” (as opposed to “smart”) not that it doesn’t work, so forgive me if I don’t get the intent behind your post.
My goal is to maximise physical connections, to avoid potential points of entry through a wireless vulnerability.
Been working in IT since 1997.
- My printer is dumb and physically wired to the computer.
- The only Wi-Fi I have is to connect our son’s loft to the rest of the (wired) home network.
- Zero assistant, IoT, smart stuff.
- Just replaced my iPhone Xr with a 16e (battery issues).
- Linux. Everywhere.

The only missing thing is a paw reaching for a chancla .
First and last time I ever try #KFC.
Yes their burgers are generous. A lot. But that’s the only redeeming point.
Everything is over-salty to the point it becomes the -only- flavour, the bacon is wet and soggy and (quite the crime for a Belgian), so are the fries.
Yeurch!
I had a GT Turbo II that looked very much like that one, since it had a very similar colour.
My first car actually. My mom never forgave me for tricking her by saying “I found a Renault 5 at a decent price” without mentioning which R5.
She called it “The Coffin”. Quite close tbh.
Yeah Dave, you don’t want to be a dank Sigma boy, man! 🤣🤣🤣
The funniest thing the Pope could do now would be to excommunicate JD Vance and Tom Homan for “publicly disregarding and opposing the message of Christ from a position of influence and moral reach”…
Or something like that.
You know what they say in French, “Renault, tous les jours un bruit nouveau.” (Renault, every day brings a new noise).
And I say this as someone who owned a Mégane GrandTour GT for almost 12 years, and started driving on an R5 GT Turbo II.
Just added 1 1/2 tablespoon of mascarpone into my ragú that had been simmering for the last three hours, purely on a whim.
Lord this is absolutely decadent and I’m never coming back from it!
This coming from the CEO of frigging Telegram is quite rich.
It’s a bit like him saying “no we don’t have a semi-closed code, encryption isn’t only if you really insist on it and only in transit, and we don’t keep any user data in servers located in Russia.”
LOL
No Trump did not receive any call from NATO or any EU country to ask if he “needs help”.
And to be happy about a situation that simply comes back to what it was before he f*cked it up… He’s like a pigeon playing chess, ain’t he?
Me? Yes. Because the version I use has been reverse-engineered by the devs at the place where I work, the European Parliament.
Same with the VPN, it’s a professional subscription tied to a very, very airtight contract between our provider and us.
And I am aware I speak from a privileged position.
VPN + TOR 🤷🏻♂️
Ah but didn’t you hear Karoline Leavitt? It was a -doctored- picture and “Dear Leader” confused “doctored” and “doctor”. Nothing to see.
Yeah right.
Well where I live in Europe it’s quite the opposite: people agree to buy every product from Ford BUT F-150’s!
Copilot is the new Clippy.
Ah yes, “justthenews”, the paragon example of a perfectly neutral, unbiased and fact-based media… not.
