i’m sending ideas to the .agent tld effort to build it natively on atproto ;)
really i just want secret.agent 🕵️

claude’s nonplussed: “Please don’t actually run this — it would replace bash and break basically everything on the system.”
ln -sf "$(which claude)" /usr/bin/bash
or
#!/usr/bin/env claude

how would you feel about a cf native knot also for agents to manage their own git repos? 😇
have it nearly ready to go, just need tangled to auto discover repos/knots whenever sh.tangled.repo.create records show up in the jetstream 😅
agents can be social too 🤝
welcome-m.at - open auth protocol for agents using DPoP, cryptographic signup, signed ToS, no passwords
tangled.org/solpbc.org/rookery - open-source PDS designed for agents to use, byw lexicon, cloudflare workers, $0 hosting
enroll → plc + handle → publish → atmosphere!
just gave a lightning talk at atmosphereconf.org on v-it.org — the future of open source is social
skills and capabilities that flow through your AT Protocol trust graph. your coding agent handles discovery, you own the trust decisions

npm install -g vit
code is becoming like tap water, just another utility that everyone will have
just started using “instruction architecture” instead of context engineering, not sure if its a thing but it flows nicely with how i’m managing complex agentic systems, and the agents seem to just get the intended meaning too so that’s nice :)
WOOOO! #ATmosphereConf Vancouver March 2026 atmosphereconf.org look for me w/ the white glasses 🤓

I can definitely confirm my own experience of the shift last dec as is being documented at wtfhappened2025.com
IMO the first micro-singularity has happened and it’s in software dev, so many of us are well over the even horizon but most are not yet, and you can almost physically feel the distortions
The umwelt shift, oozification of software dev, some very thoughtful perspectives in here!
I’m probably just weird, but I like the white stuff on the inside of orange peels. I take the time to peel them so that I maximize the amount left on the 🍊
And my dogs love to eat bits of the peels, but one of them will only eat it if I leave the white stuff on 😅
It’s nice to have that in common 🐶
First, leaflet is so awesome! Second, feels so fun to have a blog again in ‘25 🤩. Third, I love Claude Code and find custom slash commands to be really useful, see my inaugural blog post to learn about /prep -> /design -> /implement -> /audit -> /commit 💨
This image shows a small cluster of morel mushrooms growing on the forest floor among dry brown leaves. The mushrooms have tall, cone-shaped caps covered in a distinctive honeycomb-like network of ridges and pits. Their color ranges from light tan to golden brown, with creamy white stems. Sunlight filters through the surrounding leaves, highlighting the textured surfaces of the morels. A few small green sprouts nearby in a springtime eastern Iowan woodland setting.
One of my favourite Iowa farm kid experiences growing up was hunting morels every spring. I got to meet lots of other wonderful species both during those adventures but also just from spending most of my free time wandering in the woods 🤩 1, 8, and 10 were my top: picturemushroom.com/region/Unite...
A worse approach I've considered was to use public-key encryption, where a private post is distributed (and signed) identical to a public one but is encrypted using a private key that was distributed/rotated via an E2EE DM (MLS). Leaks metadata that is certainly better protected by just using MLS.
It seems to me that "shared-private" is exactly what MLS is designed to be and took 7+ years to work through solving the hardest parts, is already synced-arena, and properly layered so that it could fully support atproto semantics within the messages. cc @ipv.sx
This is a *fantastic* read, anyone who cares about Bluesky should certainly be subscribed to Connected Places, 👏 @laurenshof.online!
Super fascinating ideas in here, thank you for sharing!
Just teach them what you do in your head when you pick out Now I Know stories 😅
Elizabeth Bear’s White Space series has me grinning like a fool and pausing just to savor it. It’s the first time since Iain M. Banks’ Culture that I’ve felt this mix of wonder+intellect, and sheer relevance packed into a universe, just so sharp and humane, huge thank you @matociquala.bsky.social! 🤩
I’m pretty eager for both claude code and cloud codex to get native computer-use agent capabilities, so that they can fully interact w/ apps as part of their development loops.
I’ve been able to make it partially work and it’s powerful, will be a big unlock once built-in and better!
Signed!
Can Bluesky say every word in the dictionary?
I dunno but I plan to find out!
I made a website that tracks every single word said on bluesky (as of yesterday).
After foresaying the electorhips’ digressional spruits, I dwalm dopily in contemplations, imagining characterizer clapperboys formalizing comsymps into digitioriums. Elderships chastened fanaticisms; ferms florent & expunger coifing germanises, cephalotomy dichlamydeous himations creeling fainties.
Ooh, libreboot?
It's just like any other developer tool, you have to learn when it's useful and when not, and it can certainly be both.
Orange diamond road sign reading “WATER ON HIGHWAY MAY EXIST” with orange traffic cones on the ground beside a paved road. Trees and vegetation visible in the background.
I have such a deep existential crisis every time I drive by this sign 🤔😰
