Poiyomi's Discord account has been compromised. We're posting this to give you a heads up: Poiyomi's Discord account is currently under the control of an unauthorized person. They are actively sending DMs to users in this server. Do not open any links or download any files sent from Poiyomi's account. Here's what we know right now: Poiyomi's Discord account, email, and Patreon have been compromised. The attacker has admin access to this server and has removed administrator privileges from all other roles, so this announcement may not stay up long. If it disappears, that's why. We'll try to keep reposting it. The Poiyomi shader itself has not been compromised. We've checked the repos and there are no unauthorized commits or changes YET. If you already have the shader installed, you're fine. Do NOT download any new versions past 12/04/2026 20:00 via ANY method. We're still looking into the VCC/Patreon distribution side of things. Until we confirm, don't download any new packages from Patreon links or through VCC/ALCOM/etc. Poi & team are aware and working on recovering his accounts. The mod team is monitoring the situation and will update you as soon as possible. TL;DR: Don't trust DMs from Poiyomi's account right now. Don't click links, don't download files. Your existing shader install is safe.

The incredibly popular @poiyomi.com shaders have been compromised. Do not trust any pings from the server, download any new versions, and you should probably disable the VCC/VPM repository if you have it in your creator companion.

I am so thankful for folks who can go a long time without chatting and just pick things up right where we left off with no friendship decay and no problems. Life gets in a flow state that keeps people busy sometimes! I'm just happy to catch up and check in.
