If we lived a few minutes north, it wouldn't be. 😅 Our county they only have to give us 30 days notice legally, which feels wildly wrong. So the 60 days they gave us is legally enough.

On the stream yesterday we designed a magnetic mounting active carbon filter for the back of the Prusa3D coreONE, and while it still needs some works, got it "functioning" in 3 revisions!

I've now mounted the front plate and electronics of my first 3d printer into a frame and given it a place of honour in my office. The printer with which everything #OctoPrint started. The printer that literally changed my life.
I think that's a good way to keep it in memory.

PD-Stepper just landed! 🥳 One of the coolest little projects I've seen for a little while. Essentially a USB PD Powered Nema 17 stepper driver using the TMC2209 controlled with a ESP32-S3.

I'm fairly sure this means to even remotely preheat the machine you will have to use "BambuConnect". So its, export GCode, open BC, Preheat, Upload GCode. Major? No. Annoying? Yes. I also wonder if this removes the Cloud element. I'd bet not, which is the actual security concern for most folks.
