As a general rule I think everyone is welcome to their own opinions and ranking lists should always be unserious fun.

Then I saw a list of “Best Joker Performances” that put Mark Hamill at #3 and I’ve now spent 10 minutes and this message complaining out loud to basically no one about it.

Day 4 of my wife being out of town:
- Kid is sick w/ pink eye
- I’m now also sick w/ pink eye
- Still fighting a virus I was told to “ride out”
- Now having trouble w/ my ears too

In summary I can’t see, hear, speak, smell, or breathe well, but at least everyone’s alive.

While watching Wall-e I learned that my son pronounces “cockroach” as “crotch” and that’s just really funny to me.

Yeah it got weird. Thankfully everything post the original series mostly ignores all that.

New Blood is okay, it's not great, it's not terrible, it's different. But it is very connected to everything else.

Original Sin is actually kinda awesome, it is a prequel, but is set up to be viewed after New Blood.

Resurrection feels like original Dexter. So I say watch summaries as needed.

OG Dexter has 4 good seasons and honestly I didn't like the rest. Most of the new stuff only ever acknowledges the first 4 seasons unless it absolutely HAS to due to deaths or other major plot points. So it helps to see at least a summary.

I am shocked at how good Dexter Resurrection is.

I hated the first series finale,thought New Blood was fine, skipped Original Sin (I've fixed this oversight), but to be watching what I worried was a cash grab feel like Trinity era Dexter is amazing!

Amanda was in the room when I read the message and I told her, "This makes me want to play it, just to show him... but he also knows me well enough that I suspect it's what he wanted."

Don't tell me what I can't do Ben!
