My local Tesco Express has a security guard.

18 months ago they also put a fully enclosed reenforced glass box around the till area they can lock themselves into. So I'm not sure the security is doing much besides deferring the school kids.

But roof top solar will destroy the character of the area (/s)

Remember an episode of Line of Duty where a prison convoy was raid and a load of police shot/killed and afterwards it just back to the 3 of them working away in an empty office.

Not sure I'd be brave enough to recommend running a tumble dryer over night, but it's definitely a good point.

There's probably a logic to it. None of the parties kicked up a fuss locally and they all hate each other.

We switched to all outs and it probably has given the city some stability. I don't quite understand why most wards are single member but a handful have 2 or 3 though.

I would've been watching around the moment a friend I'd lost contact with took his own life. I find that just... a coincidence doesn't cover it, but it's always there.

Anyway, Big Boys was fantastic and you should watch it if you can

And I hope you know how much your life touched upon on us all

TikTok just pushed the scene with Jon Pointing's Danny and Jack Rooke 'I didn't make it, did I?' on the bench as shortlisted for Bafta's TV Moment of the Year.

For me, it was Jules, breaking down in the minibus.

I've watched so many hours of Age of Empires 2 on YouTube that the pronunciation of Magyar is frying my brain.

Section 40 and Regulation 13 – personal information

Unless it was an senior civil servant who made the decision, you'd get a Section 40 exemption.

You could ask for an aggregate number across all cases over a period of time but it's unlikely the data would be recorded in a way that wouldn't exceed the cost limit to confirm.

Yeah it's great. I'd tell you my favourite characters but there are so many well written and acted roles you'll know them when you see them.

Also: anyone who watches and doesn't come away more bisexual is doing something wrong.

I know this is probably just so they can accommodate a massive car park - but I wonder if any UK teams have a stadium to city/town distance like this?

Really disappointed to see Liverpool Lib Dems complaining about parking fines.

Just pathetic.

If they couldn't survive without being able to book a different headliner it does rather explain why they were so keen to defend the booking.

I think it's reasonable for forgiveness to be tied to lasting consequences.

You might forgive someone for doing something bad but still expect them to lose their job, reputation or serve some sort of sentence.

Did look into it with a Jewish friend pre-Covid but err, how should I put this... a lot has changed or escalated since then.

Woke up completely baffled after dreaming I was in Manchester Airport getting ready for a flight to Tel Aviv and wondering why on earth I'd decided that was a good idea in 2026.
