For various reasons big city mayors are expected to govern like they’re a congressman from Indiana so people are really not ready for someone saying “you don’t live here, who cares what you think”

The food situation at Dew Drop may have improved before my issuance of this observation but you can now get this not-sandwich-not-wrap situation there that is kofta en pizza dough with a sort of harissa-tzatziki sauce and pickled onion and, crucially, lettuce that is very good with a Two Hearted

Nobody does RCV like us. We’ve been doing precinct rep elections at almost every ward-wide meeting with RCV and did the endorsements process with RCV. Getting to endorsement threshold of 2/3 with RCV is craaaaazy but it happened in all but one race (not surprising to me).

I ran for chair of W1D on the platform of a) have meetings b) determine whether or not we endorse. The body voted to endorse and here are the results. I am extremely proud, and all credit goes to exec comm, precinct reps, and vols for it happening.

Opinion | San Francisco Sobers Up

i think a lot of people are invested portraying homelessness and drug addiction as the result of liberal “permissiveness” because it allows them to indulge in a fantasy where we just dont “allow” people to be homeless anymore.
