It seems her situation is chronic and we'll need to keep it under control through dietary supplements and changes since meds don't work. She lost a lot of weight and dropped to 3.3 but she is slowly gaining it back. I've been feeding her wet food with a syringe until she starts eating herself.

My oldest cat has pancreatitis. We used meds for a week and it made things worse, she started vomiting and had diarrhea, lost her appetite. We stopped the meds for a few days now and she is getting better.

My sick budgie really hates taking his meds and I completely understand the feeling. But he stopped trying to spit it out by shaking his head

Today he was able to move his swollen wing a bit. Even though he is sick, he is very cheerful. He keeps talking and giving kisses. I'm very proud of my baby.

We got 6 different meds and supplements now and weekly checkups to monitor his progress. So far it's on his shoulders. First goal is to prevent the deterioration from spreading to other bones. Then maybe we can reverse it a bit.

He is also out of his cage all day long, I try to give him exercise but he has never flown once. I've had him for 7 months now, I've been training him to fly the same way I did with my cockatiel, but it never worked. Vet said it might have started before I got him.

I just came back from the avian vet. My budgie has metabolic bone disease. His bones are deteriorating.

He has a good diet, pellets, boiled or cold water soaked grains, steamed or raw veggies and daily vitamin supplements. I don't understand how he could have lacked nutrients.

Thank you. The nearby vet said it is likely to be broken but he needs an avian vet for an accurate examination and x-ray so we got another appointment in 2 hours with an avian vet. He is at least eating normally so he won't get weak.

My budgie has a swollen wing. He can't spread it at all. He is able to move around otherwise, he talks and I was able to get him to eat some pellets.
I'm gonna take him to the vet when it opens. I hope it's not broken or dislocated. My poor baby.

Looks like we might adopt another dog, my parents are gonna check out a young dog at the shelter tomorrow to see if she'd be a good fit with our other pets. She'll be the 6th pet if we get her. She seems like a sweetheart from the pictures. I can't wait to go toy shopping for her.

We had a third one shortly after. I haven't heard of any damage reports thankfully, but people are scared because we've been expecting a major earthquake here for two decades now. Everyone thought it must be that one.

We had two earthquakes, only minutes apart. It was strong enough to knock stuff off my shelves. One of my cats was so scared.

One of the birds I watch on youtube says "baby bird" in the cutest voice so I taught my budgie to say it as well.

Mine sounds like a dalek instead...

I just spray bathed my birdies. They look so much shinier and softer now.
