This works better if you can add some reviews to the request. Publishers Weekly and Library Journal are the best, but any will help.

Review of "Up" in "simple things" magazine

"Bookshop browse
EYE ON THE SKY
Up by Dr Lucy Rogers
- Marrying wonder to keen curiosity, this winning book encourages us to stop gazing down at our phone and to look upwards
instead. Dr Lucy Rogers is the ideal guide to this sky-high endeavour; engaging and knowledgeable, she's endlessly fascinated by
'the genius of nature and the triumphs of human ingenuity, as witnessed in the air above us. She visits the kite markets of India, watches the flight of thousands of bats in the Borneo jungle, a murmuration of starlings in Rome and sees storms, shooting stars and earth orbiting satellites closer to home. She brilliantly describes the awe of these marvels, while also explaining the science behind them.

D
r Lucy Rogers MBE is a Chartered Engineer and a former Visiting Professor at Brunel University. She is the author of Up: A Scientist's Guide to the Magic Above Us. Her
website is www.lucyrogers.com.
Who is your book aimed at?
Adults who look at things with curiosity. I wanted it to feel like someone knowledgeable is standing next to you, pointing things out in the sky.
How did you go about choosing this subject?
As an amateur astronomer and co-founder of the Isle of Wight Star party, I spent a lot of time looking up, and not just after dark. It made me realise there is so much more than the Moon and stars in our skies.
What does including the other atmospheric effects bring to the narrative?
In order to look into space, we must first look through the air and the sky. By including these, it turns the Up:
A Scientist's Guide to the Magic Above us
Author:
£22.00
book into a journey upwards. On our way, we take time to pause to see things we may have missed.
What is your desert-island astronomy book (the one book you can't imagine never being able to read again)?
Assuming my desert island has dark enough skies that I don't need a small telescope, Turn Left at Orion by Guy Consolmagno and Dan M Davis would be the one I'd take. It will also remind me of the fantastic time I spent with one of the authors at the Vatican Observatory while researching my book.
What's next for you?
Every expert I spoke to while researching Up emphasised how rapidly our environment is changing. That sense of urgency has shaped what I'm doing next. I'm now developing the ExEEH - the Extreme Environments Engineering Hub - with the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Candy was a leader of the Mars Zoo @zooniverse.bsky.social project, and sometime guest on #SkyAtNight. I hugely admired her leadership in all things, but her advocacy for the importance of getting a camera on Juno. She’ll be much missed. 🔭

Honestly, what kind of business model involves selling seashells on the sea shore? Your customers can just pick up their own for free. Surely you need to export your seashell business far inland, to somewhere without a ready supply of free seashells?

Listen up: I am one of those rare sex assault victims who actually took the guy who did it to court. It was a local scandal that put my initials on the front page of the local paper (not my whole name because I was a minor).

You have no idea what happens to women on the stand or in the press.
